Aha I see!

So there's excuses for the Panther with the bad losing record, but not the others.

Imagine my surprise!

Don't worry about panthers fans, they are a very weird bunch.

Can you imagine if we do lose the series this year? My only solace will be seeing who the panthers fans (amongst others) blame this year. The logical answer is of course Nathan Cleary given he is replacing Mitchell Pearce whom was solely responsible for last series loss and he doesn't have to deal with Smith/Thurston/Cronk either.

Of course they will find some non panther to blame and it looks like that man will be Boyd Cordner. If we lose it will be his fault, if we win he will have contributed nothing.

I doubt he contributes much unless he lifts for origin. Is being ok a contribution? He's solid I guess.

People actually like Nathan(he's not an arrogant little f**k like Myth at the same age) and he isn't playing for the rorters so he can survive a series loss if that happens, no doubt people will take aim at Cordners selection if we do lose though. For one thing he is about the only player in the squad who didn't get picked on form and secondly his leadership is questionable given he captained one of NSW worst series loss last year, a complete capitulation in a series we should've won comfortably.

So when you've got a dangerous player on the opposition side who has a shoulder injury (season ending as it turns out) who would you expect to tell the team to target him so that they take him off, the team being too stupid to work it out for themselves. The captain, right? The coach was complicit as well, but they've already sacked him. They took pity on the injured Thurston, like taking pity on a brown snake that will shortly bite you on the arse.

It wasn't just Cordner of course. Pearce's display as Queensland took control in game 2 was quite a sight to behold. Headless chicken stuff. And Graham's contribution has been well documented. But Graham and Pearce will be watching from their loungerooms, along with Daley. Fittler should have done the cleanout properly.

Well Cordner has done nothing to suggest he should be the origin captain. And Fitler has done nothing but be the last man standing to in order to get the gig as origin coach.

If NSW lose this series than yes, they will be to blame.

Not forgetting old mate dickfingers Fergo, , he was complicit in the loss as well !

Fittler picked about the best team you could, and based it on form to boot. Haven’t seen that in origin in a long while.

All the clowns in the media complaining about Graham’s “snubbing”.... merkin singlehandedly cost us the series last year with dropped balls and penalties. Should be stamped never to play again

No Cotric kind of negates this. Kid is the best winger in the game at the moment. Everyone's crapping on about how NSW have speed and blah blah blah. You need a merkin in the backline who's going to put in early in sets before any one can show off their flash, particularly in a high tempo match such as Origin where forwards get gassed fast. Fittler doesn't have one. He's selected a touch footy side. No balance.

Agree re Graham. I've been saying it since full-time Game 2 last series.

Ok, ok, I admit it I like it under my rock, so much so that I just realised once again Rugby League has f**ked every one of us up the arse again.

Origin 2, on a Sunday f**king night?

What an absolute f**king shit shower

They finally get it right for the clubs and have a rep weekend and they f**k over the supporters instead.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH A FRIDAY NIGHT YOU UTTER merkinS?

f**k me sideways with double jointed fist of fury, why do I follow a sport run by people who f**king hate me so much?

You utter utter utter utter utter utter bastards

Nope you can't pick your opposition. What you can pick is your best side available and Piss was never a part of that.
Who was a better halfback at the time?

No you can't pick the opposition but if they're clearly better than you then there's only so much you can do.

People fawn over how great QLD were for a decade and in the next sentence whinge that NSW kept losing.

Well duhhhh...

We've got the wood on them in the forwards on paper, but Queensland will be trying to tire our forwards out with defence, since they will have to take the hit-ups as well. This is where Mansour would have been more than handy.

If Queensland get much over 50% of possession, I fear our pack will find itself under enormous pressure, and the showpony backline won't get to see the ball.

Sunday prime time. It's fairly obvious. It's the biggest night of the TV week.

why do you think the NFL have Sunday Night Football?
