I know why they let the television dictate these things.

No Cotric kind of negates this. Kid is the best winger in the game at the moment. Everyone's crapping on about how NSW have speed and blah blah blah. You need a merkin in the backline who's going to put in early in sets before any one can show off their flash, particularly in a high tempo match such as Origin where forwards get gassed fast. Fittler doesn't have one. He's selected a touch footy side. No balance.

Agree re Graham. I've been saying it since full-time Game 2 last series.

Cotric ain’t exactly a metre water in the stat books. Running straight and hard looks good, but I doubt we’ll have too much trouble starting our sets off right with teddy, turbo, and the Fox running the ball back

People actually like Nathan(he's not an arrogant little f**k like Myth at the same age) and he isn't playing for the rorters so he can survive a series loss if that happens, no doubt people will take aim at Cordners selection if we do lose though. For one thing he is about the only player in the squad who didn't get picked on form and secondly his leadership is questionable given he captained one of NSW worst series loss last year, a complete capitulation in a series we should've won comfortably.

Pearce didn't actually play a whole series at Nathan's age. Anyways, you recognise then that the unfair hate on him was purely because of a perception of his personality and the fact he played for the roosters?

I don't recall Mitchell Pearce being captain nor do I recall Buderus or Gallen copping much flack (Gallen did get some towards the back end of his origin career). Either way, wouldn't you agree that both coach and captain deserve more than one series to be judged on those attributes?

Well Cordner has done nothing to suggest he should be the origin captain. And Fitler has done nothing but be the last man standing to in order to get the gig as origin coach.

If NSW lose this series than yes, they will be to blame.

If we win and Cordner plays well than great. But as it stands, he is the only player in the team picked without having form so he has a damn lot to prove in this series.

Maybe because Cleary has a club combo with Maloney so it makes sense to partner them while blooding Cleary at origin level. gives us one experienced half and one debutant a club combo and the halves coming first in the NRL comp. Love Moylan and hope he keeps improving at the Sharks but he can't compete with this for selection.

Only Manly(Bozo) can match it with the roosters for getting underserving players into SOO. Myth had a mortgage on the 7 jersey for 10 years amd did not turn in even one above average performance, excuse after excuse was made for the dud, his only decent performance was game 1 2017 in which nsw cruised to an easy win so pearcey was never really put under pressure.. Now we will be stuck with an undeserving Cordner getting picked over better players for years because he got lucky to be made captain last year, don't even start me on Fergo the dud, the one year he might actually deserve to get picked on form and we cant pick him because he took the piss last series and went drinking with ole mate duges.

Its been 10 years of roosters duds in the origin team and over 10 years of losing, now go away. Good luck supporting the big money rugby league team Robbo put together, f**king rorters, chequebook rugby league to a T.

None of them besides Pearce were in the team consistently for 10 years.

I don't disagree with you on both fergo and tupou. Fergo was picked prior to being a rooster and tupou was picked based on height which is pretty flimsy. Tupou does have a 2-2 record though including a series win which must make him a legend in your book?
