Very disappointed to see Souths put their name to it.
I will see how this plays out but if they do manage to get it halted (which looks unlikely at this point) they will be getting my ticket back.
I’m amazed they have done this given how vocal Sam has been.

Why the f**k did the NRL promote this a couple months back when it was announced? Now the clubs are unhappy so Todd Greenburg changes his mood. FMD

Ian Prendergast is ex AFL yes but there's a massive conflict of interest if the NRL pay his wages and if he's lobbying on behalf of the clubs...

It's supposed to be a players union...the nrl and the clubs are supposed to be "the enemy"...

Last year when at the RLPA/NRL where in discussion over the CBA agreement I remember pendergast going on triple m talking to either James Hooper or Paul Kent and pendergast said if the players become bigger stakeholders in the game then they'd be more invested in developing the game both domestically and internationally.....that's pretty much word for word what he said....

Apparently that's not true

We don't ever really hear too much about these meetings unless someone wants to leak something to the media or something deserves an official announcement.
