Yeah it's actually felt great to be Australian. Not that it was bad just great to be superior again.

I walked around last few days with pride and happiness after Sunday night.

I'll probably be more excited and emotional if I live to see Parramatta ever win a premiership in my lifetime. But the WC win was pretty close to satisfaction as you can get when it comes to following the Australian cricket team

2007 the best team, but I think 2023 is the best win if that makes sense. I can't imagine an Australian team ever being bigger underdogs in a big game than last Sunday and to win the way they did was amazing.

1999 was awesome too.

2003, 2007 and 2015 we were heavy favourites.

I've seen some pretty big sooks over my time of following sport. I'd say the world being smaller due to the internet has a lot to do with it.....but the sooky reaction from Indian fans, commentators just about takes the cake. Yes, we mock the Poms whinging but they do not match up fan-wise to the level we have seen from the Indians over the last few days.

An extremely sweet victory.....I'd say our sweetest in limited overs cricket.

I could only imagine the reaction if Pakistan beat them in the same circumstances. I think the cricket gods are far too humane to allow that possibility of happening in the future.
