Pretty happy with the Cards draft so far. Picked up solid prospects at OL, OLB and RB 2 of which were need positions. The rest of the draft is all gravy, maybe pick up a DB, but apart from that it should be BPA until the end.

It was absolutely no surprise Dallas would be the first to cave... They showed with Hardy that they are willing to look the other way when a player is good enough.

I just wish my football team cared as much about winning.. we wouldn't be picking so early in the draft if we did....

Its not about looking the other way. Its about giving players a second chance and being there to give that helping hand when its needed. Yes sometimes it doesn't work out, but I don't believe you just give up on people.

Dallas have a history of giving players with personal problems a shot. Not all of them have been big name players either. For every Charles Haley and Greg Hardy their has been a Josh Brent, Alonzo Spellman and Dimitrius Underwood amongst others.

Don't know about the Hicks pick for Philly
Will have to read up more about him

I think he will be a Special Teams gun this year and step in to DeMeco's ILB position if he proves himself next year. It seems Kendricks is staying.

Question is do we see Kiko playing OLB in the Eagles scheme rotating with SmithIII?

Kiko isnt an outside guy

I think we're looking at Graham-Kiko/Demeco/Kendricks rotatation-Barwin
Lots of inside Lbs. Maybe Kendricks get moved tomorrow for a early pick

Panthers
Shaq Thompson, S/OLB WASH
Devin Funchess, WR MICH

not a huge fan of the trade at all. apparently the GMan had a 1st round ranking on him but the trade was a bit much. I look forward to watching cam throw to 3x 6.5 receivers but I thought it was a little much to give up. still have 5 picks left so I have hope.

I'm much happier with the 49ers day 2 draft, Tartt wasn't a need but he is so intriguing, great physical traits and a big time hitter at safety, also good range, I like him

Eli Harold was solid value at that point, not an amazing athlete but solid production and a really high character kid

Top 25 players remaining on my board:

1. WR DeAndre Smelter, Georgia Tech
2. WR Tre McBride, William & Mary
3. OT T.J. Clemmings, Pittsburgh
4. RB Javorius “Buck” Allen, USC
5. DL Grady Jarrett, Clemson
6. WR Rashad Greene, Florida State
7. RB Josh Robinson, Mississippi State
8. OT Daryl Williams, Oklahoma
9. OC Max Garcia, Florida
10. OT Tyrus Thompson, Oklahoma
11. WR Dezmin Lewis, Central Arkansas
12. SAF Anthony Harris, Virginia
13. SAF Ibraheim Campbell, Northwestern
14. WR Justin Hardy, East Carolina
15. OC Andy Gallik, Boston College
16. RB David Cobb, Minnesota
17. QB Bryce Petty, Baylor
18. DL Michael Bennett, Ohio State
19. EDGE Zack Hodges, Harvard
20. Non-Rush LB Taiwan Jones, Michigan State
21. SAF Josh Shaw, USC
22. CB Doran Grant, Ohio State
23. RB Jay Ajayi, Boise State
24. DL Derrick Lott, Tennessee-Chattanooga
25. DL Za’Darius Smith, Kentucky

One thing I thought was interesting that my little brother pointed out to me this arvo...

I wonder if Tampa would be interested in bringing in Rashad Greene from Florida State.

It's not a need... Considering they have 2 big targets in Jackson & Evans already but most analysts view Greene as a slot receiver in the NFL...

So why not bring in Jameis' favourite receiver in college to be his slot/safety valve similar to what Wes Welker used to do for Brady & Manning.

Obviously there's more pressing needs but I thought it made a heap of sense as Winston LOVED him in college... Even when he had Kelvin Benjamin.

very surprised Ajayi is still there, he's too low on your list imo

wake up and Gman/Riverboat are wheeling and dealing with the raiders. swapped 4th round picks and they got our 5th and 7th, to get RT/OG Daryl Williams.

then picked PB David Mayo and RB Cameron Artis-Payne with the 5th round comp picks.

assuming they don't trade again(don't think they will) this is the panthers 2015 draft
Shaq Thompson, S/OLB WASH
Devin Funchess, WR MICH
Daryl Williams, OT OKLA
David Mayo, LB TXST
Cameron Artis-Payne, RB AUB

not over the moon about it to be honest and think this will be voted one of the worst drafts this year.

In the 4th round Dallas added LB Damien Wilson to a an already very crowded linebacker group. You can never have enough linebackers.

In the 5th they added DE Ryan Russell to the mix.

No picks on the 6th round so waiting for the two 7th round picks we have.

Browns get potentially steal of draft in Ifo Ekpre-Olomu. If he comes back fit from his ACL...he's a 1st-2nd round CB level talent.

I can't believe he went so late and that Kelly took 2 corners in round 6 and none of them were him
Makes me wonder if the NFL teams know something about him we don't
