FMD. 21 players names and we still
look sh*thouse.

Actually I doubt we would win even if we played 21 on 17.

Scott is a meat and potatoes style of player. He is not quick, he is not dangerous with the ball in his hands, he is not capable of scoring points, has no sign of any class in attack. FFS he is a glorified backrower, turned centre. Average player at best.

bullsh*t. Let me see, who's opinion should I take: Wayne Bennett's, or some f**kwit Tigers supporter having a cry? I think I'll go with the former.

Mind you, Lawrence definitely should have been picked (at the least) ahead of Idris. Better player with more experience. And if Galloway isn't injured then he should have got a run ahead of the cream puff White. There's a bees dick between Ennis and Farah as far as I'm concerned, so I'm happy whichever way they jump between those two.

Sit here and tell me with a straight face that Scott is a good attacking player.

Is he dangerous with ball in hand? Is he fast? Can he create something? Does he have an x-factor?

No, no, no and no.

Prove it otherwise instead of calling me a f**kwit. Is there a single non-Dragons supporter that thinks Scott should be playing Origin? I doubt it.

BTW, I was arguing for Jennings to be selected before Lawrence, and at the least someone who is, you know, capable of scoring points.

Make that two f**kwit Tigers supporters. He's ordinary, and has absolutely zero attacking flair when compared to Jennings, Lawrence or Morris.

NSW don't have a terrible problem scoring points, defence is the bigger concern. Scott's a defensive centre specialist.

It depends on where those extra 4 players are. If we have them on the field so we're playing 17 vs 13... we could probably win. But if it's just a bigger bench it would make no difference.

I assume hayne and Lewis wont get off their charges in which case the team will be this:

1. Dugan
2. Tahu
3. Scott
4. Idris
5. Morris
6. Barrett
7. Pearce
8. Weyman
9. Ennis
10. King
11. Creagh
12. Hindmarsh
13. O'Donnell

14. Giddley
15. Learoyd Lars
16. Waterhouse
17. Gallen

Which will be a better side but its got glaring weakness's in the front row, and obviously at centre defensively.
I assume if Hayne plays he goes into Fullback, Dugan drops out of the side all together. And if Lewis passes, he'll go to lock, O'Donell or Gallen will drop out.
They clearly choose scott because of his defense and so long as he's fit, he'll be there

Although I don't like Jennings in the team, yes he can create points, but his defence is still a concern. Likewise Morris. Lawrence is definitely the best defender but he has hands for feet, but is much more damaging when the ball sticks and can set his outside man up.

Whilst I don't mind the selection of Scott, I definitely think Lawrence would've been better because whilst the loss in defence isn't too great, there is definitely more offered in attack.

Once again, it's probably my bias but that's how I see it.

4. Cooper

11. Hindmarsh (C)
12. O'Donnell
13. Gallen

14. White
15. TLL
16. Waterhouse
17. Gidley

That's the best team I think that can run out from the 21 man squad. Assuming Hayne and Lewis are suspended

We've averaged 14 points per game for the past 5 series. If that is not trouble scoring points I don't know what is

The only way for nsw to score points is not to have pearce at halfback , gidley and Barrett are the only halves what at least gives nsw a chance to score points.

Pearce isnt creative enough to get points

I hope NSW goes for the suicide move and put pearce at halfback , end of Bellamy surely

Danish, Timmah must used to watching the Bulldogs circa 2010...14 points is quite a lot for them.

Jennings being a "poor" defender is a myth. People automatically assume because he's a flashy, attacking style of player that he can't tackle. It is unfair. While his defense is not first class, it's not so bad he should be overlooked for an average, glorified back rower playing centre - the kind of player who would not even dare be mentioned for Origin if he wasn't wearing the Red V.

Jennings didn't seem to look out of place defensively in Origin last year last time I checked?
