Official Team v NZ Warriors

I get where Sheens is coming from with regards to moving Lawrence to 5/8. Lawrence is one of our gun players.

Benji should also be able to fit in at 7. I think Lawrence should have been moved to fullback a while back but possibly Tedesco is considered a better long term option.

Still lets hope it works. I view Lawrence as a lot like Inglis. Inglis didn't work out at 5/8 and at centre he is a little wasted but at fullback he is going great.

I'm glad you get where he's coming from, because no one else can! Seriously, Benji is not suited to halfback. He is a damaging running 5/8. He has a weak kicking game and is stifled at first receiver.

Lawrence would be better suited to fullback than 5/8, because he'd have space to move and would be lethal against a broken line and he doesn't need to possess a great passing game to succeed there.

All being said and done, he's a specialist centre and thrives playing on the left with some good service. This is all shot to shit when Benji is playing at first receiver and not creating opportunities on the left channel for him.

Leave Benji at 5/8, put Humble at half and allow him to control the game and present an alternative to Benji and Robbie, and stack the bench with some f**king pigs so we can get some quality go forward and allow the halves to do their bit.

Reddy can warm the bench for 76 minutes a game or put a bit more size on and play in the second row. No doubt he'll stay at centre because Sheens will get a hard on for all the second phase play he offers with his offload. Only issue is that this team is so disjointed when the ball is popped up, every player is standing flat footed and we end up worse off.

I know it won't work. What i'm highlighting is the stupidity of Sheens.

Isnt it a definition of madness to do the same thing over and over and expect different results?

Madness = turning a world class 5/8 into at best a very average halfback.

Here's a thought, why not give ANYONE the friggin halfback jumper and leave them there for the whole year so we can try and build some stability and combinations??? I dont give a flying f**k whether its Humble, Miller, Moltzen or Adam f**king Blair, but changing the core of the side around every 2-3 weeks is insanity.

From NRL.COM today

TIGERS: Tim Moltzen, Beau Ryan, Joel Reddy, Blake Ayshford, Lote Tuqiri, Chris Lawrence, Benji Marshall, Aaron Woods, Tom Humble, Keith Galloway, Adam Blair, Liam Fulton, Matt Bell. Interchange: Ben Murdoch-Masila, Matt Utai, Ray Cashmere, Pat Politoni

Late Mail: Chris Heighington is a slim chance of returning from a broken hand, but it is more likely he'll spend another week on the sidelines.

Is that the slowest NRL backline EVER??? 3 of them are built more like backrowers + Ryan spends half the game there anyway

Include Moltzen in that list, he's not as fast as people make out.

Ryan will be spending most of his time at hooker tonight, just watch.

No point playing Hino tonight, may as well get him back fully fit

I reckon Blair might actually fire for you guys tonight. I'm sure hes pumped up for his mates in the kiwis. You can chuck Benji in the same basket.

Im worried about our defence, could be a high scoring game.

I missed seeing the game on TV but I'll take a win however scrappy. Sounds like we were lucky but we'll take it. There are still players in the squad who do not really deserve to be named in the 17 but we are winning in spite of them. It bemuses me how much better WT could be doing if we had some sensible, coherent selection strategies and policy.

Anyway, good on you fellas.

Listening to Wok Ryan a few weeks ago during the call of a Sharks game and after Robson made another break, he said if ever a club needed a solid no7 like Robson it was the tigers, it would allow benji to be his own man and do what he is very good at rather than try and do something he is not so good at.Last week was one of his better effort at no7, but he is so much better at 6.

I think that this was proven to be complete crap against the Warriors. Benji put on one of the best kicking games that I have seen in a long time. He controlled the game brilliantly and certainly wasn't stifled.

That says more about McClennan than Sheens. Any half decent coach would have known Benji was the only kicking option and yet never put any pressure on him. Had they have pressured him, he would have folded.

Tend to agree. Benji can pull out a good kicking game from time to time, and has done so a couple of times already this season - it's consistently doing it that holds him back from being a dominant, controlling half.

He proved you wrong - how hard is it to admit it.

Grow up idiot. No body denied he had 'a' (one in a long time) good game at half.

I thought the forum for mutual c**k stroking everytime a player has 1 good game was the oficial Wests Tigers Forum.

1 good game at halfback out of how many over the years proves the doubters right, not wrong.

If he played anywhere else prior to moving positions than the move is justified, but moving the worlds most dangerous Pivot to play the occasional good game at Halfback makes no sense what so ever. If you think it does than please enlighten us.

I'd put money on it you wouldn't say that to my face so don't say it here. Its rude and offensive and its shows what a stupid f**king moron you are.

As for your point - he has been playing at 1st receiver for a while now and he has the ability to slot right into 7.

It was a great game from Benji and he proved he can play really well there. Sheens and Benji got it right and its not that hard to give them both some credit for it.

Solely because McClennan is even more f**king stupid than Sheens.

His big forwards were being contained by Woods and Sauce, Hurrell & Henry looked dangerous every time they got the ball wide... So what does he do? He keeps sending the pill up the middle. If they threw the ball wider more often during that game, they would have turned our blokes around on the fringes more often than not and we would have eventually have leaked a try or two.

Actually i would say it to your face just befor slapping u with my dick. I dont apologise if you take offence to that too, but u can have a small nibble if it makes you feel better.

BTW stating you take offence to being called a childish idiot than going on to calling someone a f**king Moron in the same sentance just once again proves my point, your a childish idiot.

I will leave you now to thoroughly enjoy Benjis super performance undisturbed, i wont respond to your idiotic comments anymore either so knock yourself out.
