Pewhairangi covers Mataele down the left and makes a good tackle.

Wenty are able to grind their way to the fourth tackle before Ualesi belts Carlos Tuimavave with a gorgeous tackle!

The Warriors look for the grubber on the last and pick up a beneficial deflection that gives them six again.

The weight of possession proves to be too much for Wenty as they are caught short on their right edge. Fritz pushes in and is punished with a long cut out ball.

Hunt has a pretty good attempt at a try saving tackle but just can't do enough to stop the big NZ winger.

The conversion is successful.

NZ lead Wenty 6-0

Ugly kick off from Wenty but it does the job.

New Zealand keep it simple after points but come undone with a poor pass from dummy half that is well forwards.

Wenty scrum near halfway.

Pat Matele hits the ball up with Daniel Alvaro carting it mid field next.

Ualesi runs the inside slant and does well to hold onto the ball before the defenders drive him backwards.

Hunt is running the left edge sweeper again but has to pull up as he runs out of space.

Pewhairangi kicks for Rawalui and Fritz on the last but the Warriors are once again too good in the air before they pick up yet another penalty.

Warriors with all the running now as Ben Fritz loses the ball after leaping high to take the New Zealand kick.

The Warriors were set up for a set piece move but it didn't amount to anything. Pewhairangi forces the ball loose on the next tackle and Faraimo cleans it up with some added metres to boot!

Good set after considerable pressure for Wenty as they rumble the ball up the middle, a great charge fro Ualesi takes Wenty into the red zone and a good kick from Jones nets the visitors a line drop out.

Ma'afu runs it hard and straight, as he always does, and picks up a penalty for Wenty.

The tap restarted gives them another set in the red zone and they build for a right edge raid but and shut down by some willing defence.

A second penalty comes Wenty's way for a strip.

Alvaro takes a heavy hit from the tap. Wenty go to Jones on the right on the second tackle before Maliota runs and offloads near the sticks.

Gorman takes the offload but is tackled and Wenty then fall apart after Hunt retrieves a stray pass on the third tackle and inexplicably tries to grubber for himself - turning the ball over in the process.

The Warriors get a penalty late in the count and will resume play near Wenty's 30m line.

Can't even buy a penalty for blokes around the head. The Warriors 10 should have been penalised against Alvaro.

Gorman is quite nippy out of dummy half.

They are missing Foran big time.

Rawalui was beaten for pace there by the NZ fullback but just managed to get a hand to his ankle!

Wenty recover strongly as the Warriors switch their focus to Wenty's left edge.

Time is off as Michael Sio (sp?) is down.

Ualesi has gotten into the ribs of the young Warrior player and hit him hard.

Time on on the last tackle.

The Warriors look for the cute play as they run in down the skinniest of short sides. They manage to get a kick in and Faraimo does very well to take it and stay in the field of play.

Wenty fail to complete their set after Hunt is hammered and has the ball stolen 1-on-1.

Time off for a fracas.

Hunt is off after the heavy tackle and now there is some concern about a head butt.

He is on report and the Warriors earn yet another penalty.

They opt for the tap restart and begin the rumble towards the try line. Wenty hold them out near the posts but Ben Fritz looks to be caught in no man's land when they raid our right edge and the home team have their second try.

The replay shows they had the over lap but Fritz had neither committed nor stayed back.
