The referee has signaled a penalty to the Entrance for a highshot, no players were sent off.

The Entrance have opted to take a shot at the two points from directly in front.

The attempt is successful and the Entrance have extended their lead to eight points.

Entrance lead Wenty 32-24.

8min to go.

Edit - Cheers Stagger, there were no programs left when I got here.

And now the Entrance have put it beyond any doubt as they capitalise on a Wenty mistake around halfway.

Wenty lose control of a short ball and it ends up in the hands of the #3 for the Entrance who steps inside some poor scrambling defence and steaks 50m downfield to score under the posts.

The conversion is good.

The Entrace lead Wenty 38-24

5m to go.

Another altercation between the two teams, this time off the kick off.

The ref blew time off and separated the two teams before resetting the play.

Oh dear, and yet again time is blown off as players stand face-to-face.

The touch judge has joined the ref on the field of play this time.

Players from both teams are called out for warnings and Wenty get the penalty.

Wenty receive a string of penalties that culminate in an Entrance player getting binned.

Damn, my post got eaten.

Anyway Wenty cross out wide and successfully convert the try.

The full time siren rings out before the kickoff can be taken.

Wenty commence the game with a solid first set before finding the North's fullback near his goal line with the kick.

Norths begin to ruck it out in return, fighting beyond the halfway line. They send the ball up high on the last but it is well taken by Wenty on their 20m line.

And now some technical difficulties on my end but I look to back in action.

There was an excellent 40/20 from Sandow I believe but we lose the ball from the scrum!

Both teams trade sets as they both look to establish early dominance around the ruck and it is the Bears that take control of the game first on the back of some good mid field charges.

They find themselves deep in Wenty's red zone and score down our left-edge with Curtis Johnson.

The conversion is waved away.

The Bears lead Wenty 4-0

North Sydney nearly crack Wenty open with a deft inside ball but the cover defence shifts quickly and jams the inside runner, forcing the ball loose.

The ref rules a double knock-on with a feed to Wenty 10m on Wenty's side of halfway.

And now there is a penalty for Wenty to put them firmly into North's territory.

Wenty direct their early attack down the right-edge before Sandow gets the ball in the middle on count. He immediately looks to take on the goal line defence as he heads towards the posts. He beats a couple of defenders and crosses under the black dot.

Sandow converts his own try.

Wenty lead 6-4

12min gone.

Wenty go perilously close the sideline on their second hitup but manage to stay in the field of play.

Pat O'Hanlon links up with Sandow who finds his right centre to get us near halfway before we kick on the last.

The kick isn't great and the Bears come away with decent field position.

Late in that set the Bears earn a penalty on the back on some quick, hard carries.

They resume play on Wenty's 30m line and look to attack down their left-edge again.

No success there so they come down their right, Wenty hold them out once again to force the last tackle.

Nroths roll the ball in towards the posts and both teams have players in the hunt but Wenty manage to bat it dead.

Drop out against Wenty.

The drop out rolls pass halfway before it is retrieved but Wenty squander that advantage with a dangerous tackle that draws a penalty.

Wenty hold Norths out until the last again and a flustered Bears outfit run it on the last, to no avail.

The Magpies scramble well down their left-edge and kill the ball to earn a turn over.

Kaysa is sharp out of dummy half to put O'Hanlon on the front foot as we head towards halfway.

Next play Sandow drills the ball downfield, looking to find the sideline but it sits up for the North's player to nab.

Wenty are pinged for a Pritchard making contact with the ref and the Bears find their way to halfway for a fresh start to a set.

Soft stuff there from Wenty after displaying some grit earlier on. North Sydney cross off the back of that repeat set. They score score courtesy of #6.

The conversion is no good.

Norths lead Wenty 8-6

21min gone.
