I reckon the majority of NRL fans would not rate Sandow higher than Robson, Wallace and Walsh.

That's because the majority of NRL fans are haters. They never rate players that don't conform to white Australian ideals of humility. They didn't rate Jarryd Hayne back when he was Dally M Player of the Year either.

I include Ricky Stuart in the majority.

I think Sticky is just pissed at Sandow's defence.

I'm not enamoured with little Arnold but put him behind a decent pack with a good halves partner and he can perform well for us next year.

I agree. In fact, I reckon behind a strong pack he's as good as any playmaker in the game. Behind a weak pack his lack of size is exposed in both attack and defence. He's that kind of player.

Some NRL fans are haters, not the majority.

Poll the fans that aren't haters and I firmly believe that the objective view would be that Sandow and the other halves rate fairly evenly.

Yes, tall poppy syndrome is well known. However, I don't believe it a factor when it comes to Sandow. He is very humble and does not talk himself up to the media. He exhibits the same degree of humility as most players.

They didn't rate Jarryd Hayne back when he was Dally M Player of the Year either

This is a generalisation. There were a lot of superlatives written and spoken about Jarryd in 2009.

I think Sticky is just pissed at Sandow's defence.

I also don't imagine he is happy with some of his last play options either. However, I am sure that he would recognise that his job is made harder when the opposition defence is in his face.

So we're shoo-ins Gronk?

Can we get some close scrutiny of Manu Ma'u in this game please? Much as the chip roll appeals to me, I won't be there...

Have we really got a bloke called Cecil playing the centres. I hope so that's great. Have to be a kiwi, surely.

Pritchard back in Wenty is interesting. Ryan also there. I wonder what the plan is this week with the interchange. Two Paulo's, Terepo and Allgood?

Most Cecil's that you come across are toothless wonders who are at least 70. It's good to see that there are some younger Cecil's coming through the ranks.
