Was Fluke injured, dropped or did he play hooker like he did for some of the sharks game ?

came off the bench and came on for Matt Hunt and played a bit off hooker.

we're definitely going to miss Anthony Mitchell in this grade, he's a kid that could of steered them to a title..

sounds like a few of us were there today and would like their opinion on some of the individual performances, here's my take on a few of them.

Humble: played five eight but really didn't set the world allight, was overshadowed by a more committed and enthusastic Morts..

Morts: steered the team really well, his kicking game has improved and we even saw a rare 40/20 from the kid, some of his execution again let him down but over all signs were very positive.

Walker: played fullback, his clean up work was shit house but was our most dangerious in attack and was alaways at the end of some really classy backline movement, score a terrific try in the 2nd half.

Pele: probably our best player in the 2nd half really cause the opposition some headaches up the middle and set up a great try for Armit.

Reni: had a major impact in the first half, particularly in the left edge and may of played his last game for wenty as SK is going to find it difficult to ignore him for future selections.

Pat O'Hanlon: had a run of the bench and really matched it up against his more mature older opoosition.

Mat Ryan: played right edge backrow, very solid performance for his second hit out for his club.

finally f**king kicks a 40/20 but it's in NSW cup, oh the irony

I agree with all of Stagger's takes on the players. We will miss Mitchell, he still rocked up and sat right near the Wenty bench as if he was still with the club.

On another note, Latu Fifita the brother of Andrew and David Fifita played off the bench for Wenty in Bundy this arvo, he didn't play too bad but doesn't look to have as much talent as Andrew.

I thought Morts was pretty good in the first half. He genuinely looked a class above for most of it. He still made a couple of errors like passing when he should have run and not passing when he should have. He made a break at one stage and had a man unmarked to his side but went himself and bombed a certain try. But otherwise was very good. Can still land the ball on the fullbacks chest though, with the exception of his 40/20 at the start of the game.

Maitua was pretty good as well.

How good is the chips and gravy?

actually, I'm not going to start to piss in his pocket just yet but he's improving with every run and probably should of had the stint down there long before he was dropped, the improvement has been that although there's still some errors in him he is begining to play an uptempo style of game and the blokes around him are feeding of him.

chip roll and wenty burger....the ultimate cardio killer but you'll die happy!!

Well I didn't see SK but only he knows whether Maitua will play in the 1's next week or not, however the positive signs that he's shown on the park suggests that he's not far away.

No injury cloud, they always travel with an 18th man in case there is an inury in the warm up. Happens quite often in the NRL strangely enough.
