Go back to giving a one word answer from now on or no interviews at all.
Sounds like a post career opportunity for Darius as an player’s media trainer.

I agree with most of this. Would you have any issue if he had said anyone instead of anything?
I think it was a dumb thing to say in the public domain but its not worth the meltdown Penrose Warrior seems to be having.
If he said pull something goregous instead, people would still have the shits. If he said pull someone, people would still have the shits. No matter which way you slice it, every snowflake wants to be offended by something, cant stop them.
Young male makes joke about going out to a club and looking to get laid... colour me shocked.
Like 90% of society do on an average night out pre corona.
Ridiculous.

Cancel Culture is appalling.
let this bloke talk the way he wants to.
the game doesn't need players talking about f**king women in interviews.
Just quoting to show the real story.A lot of uppity people missed the irony of what Toby said.
He was set up by being accused of being an "old school" fella and then asked how he'll celebrate. He went along with the joke. He was not actually condoning going to Northies and being a rootrat.
He's plenty busy looking after his disabled mum and sick grandma
Did anyone see the rubbish that was performed at the Grammys. that was 50 times worse than anything he said. Yet because they are black and women they can get away with it.
That's the whole thing. If he wanted he could go down to Northies and pull one, just by being an NRL player, probably without even having to open his mouth. He should have known saying this would draw the crabs, though.Women like sex too you prudes
Just don't do it on TV. Is that so hard? The game has an image problem when it comes to the treatment of women. I honestly can't see how that's hard to understand.
Andrew Abdo fortunately is intelligent, and gets it that the game doesn't need players talking about f**king women in interviews.
If this type of ‘joke’ or innuendo is worthy of a warning note, the Matty John’s show is in big trouble moving forward - their entire show is built around this type of ‘lads being lads’ suggestive humour, whether it be about women, drinking or even often recreational drugs - the player involvement on the show doesn’t work if the players are going to be sanctioned for stuff like this.Society has the issue, not just the game. Next time your mate mentions how toey he is for a tinder date to breeze through pull him up on it eh?
Otherwise it's just virtue signaling, which as mentioned is the snowflake thing to do in recent times with nothing else important on their plate.
Not triggered by the warning, just have a good old chuckle at those who are offended.

Guaranteed every media manager across the NRL is today telling their players to batten down the hatches and stick to the pre-agreed clichès in all interviews. That’ll switch more people off than any light hearted innuendo.

Is the NRL just assuming that Toby Rudolf is straight? What if was gay or bisexual and hoping to hook up with another man? Very poor form by the NRL to make such assumptions.
