We could have kept him for cheaper than that. Regardless of what they paid, we'll still be missing him next year.

Quinn is only young and at his age has enormous talent... when I said he could be the next ET... he could very well be in the football talent area of things... he scores tries and saves them... and he WILL be a rep player... I cannot believe we are letting him go...

Woah! But are they going to play Slater or Inglis at fullback? One of them is going to be wasted on the wing.

Don't be holding your breath Jase for a prompt reply- remember what they told me when I asked for the names of players whos contracts finished in 2006 and was told by the Knight manglement that they were too busy to reply and would get back to me a the end of the season- GOLD or should I say Gold plated poop!!

Yes I forgot your unreasonable request!!

I just wonder what takes up so much time over there, its not re-signing players or on recruitment so I'd have thought there would be plenty of time to talk to members?

4: M. Gidley
5: Chris Walker

It was a good letter Nuffy, but to make sure of getting a reply you need to send it to Mike Tyler.
Because he is chairman of the board, the letter would have to be read at a board meeting.
That way all the directors and any member attending the meeting would see & hear the response your letter.
It also guarantees you a reply.

With our two top wingers going elsewhere next season I can only assume that Brad Tighe and Trent Salkeld will be playing more FG next season. I think these 2 showed alot of promise last year and I can't understand why they haven't been given another chance

Craig Bellamy has a pretty impressive record of developing players. So IMO Anthony Quinn can only become a improved player under him providing he has the right attitude.

Salkeld had very weak defence which is almost as bad, if not worse, than Carney. Salkeld's performance last season was not noticed as much due to our horrific run at the beginning of the season, and our great run at the end. Had we been travelling where we are now for last season, Salkeld would be found out. His finishing is not even that great.

1. Thaiday
2.
3. Carmont
4. Kidley
5.

For the wing positions we have a few options before Salkeld. Tighe, Seage and to a lesser extent Cooper can fill that position, if not just a stop gap measure until Uate, Gordon and the like develop further and move into FG

Why are you blaming the board?

If things are the same as they were at Parra then Smith is entirely in charge of who stays and who goes.

somehow i seriously doubt that Smith has had no say into hirings and firings for next year etc etc
