lol @ the moral outrage. The medias job is to report, that's what they're doing. It's not like they came up with the allegations the drugs might have had something to do with his cancer.

Reporting is fine.

Sensationalising is not.

A full front page for such a weak link is sensationalist.

The "media" didn't write this report. It's from the club itself. And the article isn't even anti-Mannah. It paints him as a victim to some potential extreme incompetence. It doesn't paint him as a bad guy.

No one is saying that.

What the telegraph are doing is sensationalising his death. That's what is disgusting.

Scum. Absolute scum. They have no idea what they're doing to the Mannah family with this. And it's a complete bullshit article.

I hope this paper goes the way of their UK counterparts and dies. I will dance on its grave.

So no proof of link. An oncologist rejects any link yet some sports doctor who comes out and states he doesn't have the full details and the matter needs to be provided to an expert oncologist made a few remarks about possible effects is used as the primary informant?? Wtf..

That's like me speaking to a taxi driver about auto repairs, simply because they use a motor vehicle.

Have any of u guys thought that this headline has been orchestrated by the DT to take ppls attentions off the FACT that two rugby league games sold-out on ANZAC day? Is it also no surprise that Cronulla's involvement in fhe ASADA scandal started to go full throttle on the eve of the NRL Season Opener?

Think they could have treaded a bit more carefully with this story.

I don't know what they hoped to achieve by approaching the family. There's no way they would offer a comment and have probably just managed to upset them.

If such a letter existed, it would be on file at WADA/ASADA - either as a hard copy or on their electronic information management system.

Yeah sure, but my point wasn't that it existed, more so that whilst it is not inconceivable that Dank produced a letter that was a forgery, it is just as possible that the club invented the forged letter's existence in an effort to cover their arse.

Bourbon Beccy should ask Lance Armstrong's docs how he survived despite having had cancer and using drugs for years

low human beings at the DT

There should be a blanket ban on anyone in the game talking the News Ltd, at least until they get rid of the scum. Any club, official or individual who helps News Ltd in any way should be stood down, whether it be player, coach, club admin, NRL admin. It's time.

Armstrong is an interesting one. His cancer should have been spotted by drug testing. There are a few athletes who have had their lives saved by failing drug tests. The fact it wasn't shows how useless cycling was at the time.

As for the dt its beyond scummy..

I've read the article again today and I still can't find any reason for all the moral outrage.

Bruno Cullen says ASADA will be giving this report to police as soon as this week. So even the club is saying this is legitimate and not being made up.

People need to chill. The DT routinely comes out with much much much worse rubbish than this article. This article at least seems to have broken actual non made up news. Which is more than the majority of their sport articles.

Their careers are built on trash journalism but f**k that's low. I hope they all have some sleepless nights after that one.

Can't agree more.

Journalism is a disgrace in this country and someone should be held reliable for this article but its all about shock tactics and selling papers to these merkins

Front page article. About something that MIGHT have happened. Harassing the family about such maybes. You can't see the reason people are upset?

If they wanted to stick something ASADA related on the front page, why didn't they go with the 6 Essendon players who have taken the banned anti-obesity drug?
