I mean we get the pity stories about a Nine worker who was killed in Thailand. Maybe her parents should be fronted and asked about how they feel about her and her partner not wearing helmets which contributed to her death

Exactly.

Reminds me of how in the AFL, Collingwood fans still laud Darren Millaine, who killed himself in an accident 20yrs ago or so whilst driving over 6 times over the legal BAC limit, yet conveniently ignoring the fact he had a long history of misdemeanours outside of footy including hijacking a bus weeks before he died. Hes supposedly a hero for killing himself only, yet if he survived but killed someone else, he would've been imprisoned, banned for life from playing, shamed and disgraced by the public.

Yet, you try to tell Collingwood fans and ppl like Eddie McGuire and they go all apeshit over you.

Complete utter hypocrisy if you ask me.

For me it's still the way it was reported that is disgraceful.

I don't have a problem with reporting on such an issue if its done in a respectful way.

But to put it on the front page with words like 'bombshell' is very disrespectful to the Mannah family. Particularly given the tenuous links.

It could have been approached in a much better way. They could have taken just a little more time to interview serious people who could talk about the issue intelligently.

But no , what we got is a rush job in order to claim their 'exclusive'

And in that rush they trod all over the memory of of johnny Mannah and his family & friends.

I 100 percent agree with everything you said. But, that has become very typical of the DT and their pop-gun, sensationalised, exaggerated, misleading stories. Then on top of that, you have people with the title 'editor at large':

What the hell is that supposed to mean? Must translate to 'resident wanker' if you ask me.

Anyways, no surprise to see Wilson and Hooper as two of the authors attributed to that Mannah article. I've said this before and I'll say it again: This guy never struck me as a journalist.

He reminds me of your typical jock in high school who tried to act tough by playing a lot of sports, listened to punk rock music, and who asked a lot of girls out. Next time he's on The Footy Shows 5 IN THE BIN segment, someone should just give it to that smug....

This woman and her 'code in crisis' stories along with Rothfield have become nauseating. We all know her true love is AFL and boy she doesn't hide it when she is partnered with McVeigh on Sky News' Sportsnight. However, like Webster who is a Union supporter at heart, they both feign their love for RL because RL is where the big money is (in terms of sports journalism in NSW). It is their feigned interest in RL that pisses people off

I don't know much about Massoud so I can't comment on him.

Editor at large is an actual journo term. It's something about being both an editor and a writer.

Can anyone say what was on the 9 news I missed it

Dank confirmed he provided peps but claims they were legal and doctors consulted and calls the cancer link nonsense

Dank via Weedman states he consulted an oncologist regards the peptides (confirmed) he gave Jon Mannah.

Ok, let see if he obtained that in writing. Why, did he not directly consult Jon's specialist.

Somehow, I believe, this supposed oncologist will not have a name.

C'mon, Dank release his or her name to support your claim.
