Manly Low to Medium - release statement saying no players failed drug tests.
Cronulla have released a statement saying no players failed drug tests.

Huge difference. Cronulla very quiet..............

All clubs were told of what category they fell into. Low, Medium or High. Three clubs have claimed low, one low to medium. Cronulla and Penrith are the only ones who are not reporting their level of involvement.

Someone must be high. To make an exaggerated claim there has to be something to exaggerate.

This is not going to be about failing drug tests. Gus has suddenly changed his tune. Cronulla have gone very quiet! No emphatic denials from these two clubs.

Manly were low to medium.

Hey DJ, I wouldn't waste my time with the idiot. He loves death-riding us, and will say anything to that end.

Here is an idea. Please reference in the report were it talks about low, low/ medium.

You may just find no reference and this is a phrase used by those clubs.

It's a good point raised that Penrith and Cronulla haven't said too much on their grading of severity, however these 2 clubs could be under a difference scope of investigation to the other 4

What do they gain by making a public statement? The investigation isn't over. They only found out yesterday what they were being investigated FOR.
Anything they say now might come back to bite them later on.

Statement just received in Email to Sharks members...

Summary: No players have tested positive, ASADA investigation focusing on 'short period in 2011'.

As I speculated before, it really only is covering Dank's involvement with our club (who was also given the boot from our club).

The problem is that this kind of thing is like being exposed to a disease. If one high profile player from Cronulla (or any other club for that matter) hooked up with him during that short exposure to him, then a whole bunch of players may have followed on the quiet.

It rules out systematic club doping (which is very important), but it doesn't mean your players aren't doped independently.

I believe that this came from the briefing that ASADA gave clubs yesterday. The wording seems a bit too consistent to be made up by the individual clubs.

You are correct however that if it is just made up by the clubs, its not worth pissing on.

You would also wonder why other clubs named, didn't use the same "low" risk categorisation if they were just making it up individually.
