I just want this done with so the Sharks, the players, and the game can start to move forward.

It has derailed the club, put pressure on the players mental health, and prevented either from knowing what their next move is.

The Sharks are in trouble if show cause notices are issued. The onus is on Cronulla to prove they are innocent. This isn't a criminal case, the players won't be appealing in the courts to fight to clear their name. Cronulla can mount legal action against ASADA over the legality of the investigation process but that would be a blight on the game that will drag for years.

After seeing the boss of ASSADA on the TV this morning I can confidently
predict this will go on for at least another 12 months .
He jibbered his way through two interviews without being able to answer a single question
clearly.

Yep. As soon as he was asked how long it would take for the cloud to lift and he said "No, let me just say this..." you knew he want going to answer any questions.

It may be a blight on the game but I believe this is the path Essendon intend to go down.

I wonder if the federal government will put pressure re the funding of the AFL to stop such court cases. I think the players unknowingly took a banned substance but that is no excuse as every athlete would use that excuse. I think the players will end up with a ban of between 6-12 months in both codes

There is no way any official funds from the AFL or NRL will be used in these cases.

Any money will be club (read membership monies) or personal finances, this in itself will be a very controversial money drain after a period of time.

hear hear.... this whole thing is f**king atrocious and i feel for all the players (even AFL) and clubs who have had to go through this bullshit "invetsigation" which still ahsnt interviewed the primary witness

if there needs to be sackings/suspensions/cleansings lets get it over with.

i predict cronulla will win their maiden premiership before this shit is over

You'd hope clubs like the Bombers and Sharks don't ask for member contributions during any legal action to clear names, both clubs have been accused of illegal activities and I doubt they can prove what was used was legal
