Listening to Brandy arch up about Best being picked cause of one game was comical. Read should of asked if Best would of been picked if the scores were reversed. The NSW coaching staff have completely lost the plot

It's a joke, they're dropping and picking players like it's going out of fashion. They're desperate and have no answers.

I'm actually glad Hynes isn't picked this year, he'll get his turn but selfishly I want him to be fit and only playing for the Sharks. Typically I'd be happy a player gets origin experience .. but not with this coach or team. Hard pass.

I wanted Cody Walker and Adam Reynolds to be the halves Game 2. Plus two prop forwards on the bench to give them a chance of some go forward.

But Fiturd decides now to put one of them in when the horse has bolted.

The NSW team resembles Fiturd’s mind. It’s just all over the shop. He picks teams on a daily thought bubble rather than a long term game plan. It’s obvious he hasn’t done the work to recognise which players are ready for Origin and how he will use them.

It seems he puts more time into team activities and novelties before the Origin game than on game plan specifics, tactics and attacking fluency.

I revert back to a point I made I think before game 2. Slater and the QLD team play for their people and in return are universally loved in QLD, regardless of what club they play for. And most of the time, that’s been the case for QLD - only really DCE and Kevvie ever came in for flack.
I genuinely don’t think there’s 1 person that could be brought in to coach NSW that would get universal support - Gus is hated by more than like him, Joey and Matt J are hated by plenty, Ryles would be shot down as a rookie, Ricky is hated by us, and plenty of others… there’s nobody. Bellamy would probably be the closest we could come, as people would at least expect him to do better 2nd time around.
And then this passes on to the players - what NSW players are universally ‘liked’ where fans can put aside their club first mentality and hatred… Nicho is one of very few that most people could get behind, Turbo and Jurbo maybe at a push (though some people will say Jurbo isn’t good enough), maybe Cam Murray and Yeo. But other than that, most of the NSW team are flogs. The Penrith boom box crew are hated by everyone other than Penrith fans, and I’m pretty sure that will extend to the rest of the NSW team. I’m absolutely sure there’ll be a fair few in the NSW team who cannot stand their fake American gangsta boombox bullshit - I can’t believe the Yeo and Martin don’t really look at them and think ‘dickheads’.

I don’t know why Geoff Toovey isn’t mentioned much. I reckon he’d be perfect for the NSW coaching position. Give him Ryles and Ennis as potential assistant roles. We need fresh eyes on this NSW team.

Let's bring in the 5/8 we should have brought in with his old number 7, but let's not bring in the old number 7. Combinations are a thing of the past.
In fact let's bring in all these other players who haven't played with each other. This way we'll show them that our new plan of having no Combinations is the way to go.
And let's make it really ultra special by bringing in two Newcastle players who have been crap all year, they played well on Sunday thats eniugh to say theyre in form!

Loved in QLD since I was 13. I’m now 36. Reluctantly supported NSW the whole time. At least with the team that lost 8 in a row ot was against multiple immortals, close games often with series going down to the last 5 mins or field goals etc.

Now f**k it. These selector spastics have made me now want to jump. I could handle losing, didn’t bother me that much. But the disgraceful treatment of our club by selectors, the disgusting, almost corrupt selections (would love to see who the agent of TPJ, the random tigers prior, Best is etc, I bet it’s the same agent of coach gin staff/selectors).

Made money last game betting on the blues to get flogged. Now I want to sit and cheer for QLD with my five year old just like we cheer the sharks.

I watch most games every week. He is like Ben Pomeroy. He is not as good as about six other centres overlooked. At 21 he may well play in the future, but so far in his career at Newcastle he has been barely average and probably could still be playing his craft in reserve grade.

Poor kid about to be another one and done Freddie NSW special.

Get real. Both Sifa and Ramien are better than BB. When has he done anything to raise eyebrows this year apart from 3 tries v's the pea hearts on the weekend? Both those players individually have had more highlights this year than in that guys whole career.
