The team looks great , personally I think it would have looked better with Merrin in for Chrighton but I I get the reason behind it.

Completely agree. I think the forward rotation is a little bit light. I think a second prop instead of Chricton would have been better. RCG is going to be expected to put in big minutes.

I also do worry a little bit about the defence in the centres. QLD have two absolutely gun centres, who could carve up Mitchell and Roberts.

I actually like the inclusion of Crighton. I think he's built for Origin footy. Time will tell.

Peachey will be a happy camper. A Shane this didn't happen in 2014 and we got to see the best of Tyrone at Penrith. I imagine he will improve after playing origin and the tits will get the benefit. Little big more magic this year would be nice.

It's the same every year. Blues fan's get all excited, this is the year the blues will end the Maroon dominance. Heard it all before. While it's great we had four Panthers selected, Freddie has put all his eggs in the one basket going with all out speed in the outside backs. While the likes of Mitchell & Roberts have speed to burn they also have major defensive issues. Tommy Turbo on the wing? Why not just select a specialist in the young kid Cotric who has been sensational? I am not as confident as many but I do think we have the edge in the halves which maybe where the blues can get the upper hand.

Turbo and Cordner are my only real issues. Cotric would have been a great choice for the reason you mentioned.

But mostly it’s a team selected on form for a change.

It was said on NRL 360 last night and I keep hearing that every time Nathan has gone up a grade he has looked exactly the same. Nothing about his game changes and he goes about his work. QLD should be concerned about this.
