Jalen Hurts is one of the most dangerous players in the league, sure he does throw the rock with a huge amount of zip but its good enough to be effective. he runs the rock better than any other qb and he protects the rock. Plus he plays behind the best o line in the NFL.

truth is, the 49ers had theyre guy available for that game and they failed to protect him. Kyle Shanahan thought it was a good idea to have a back up tight end block one on one against one of the most explosive edge defenders in the nfl in Hassan reddick. the rest is history.

you failed to protect the quaterback and you paid.

Held on to Derek Carr for way too long

Signed Jon Gruden as coach, after years of not being an active coach

We put Maxx Crosby on the trade block, only to change our minds shortly thereafter, and re-sign him

Overpay our entire O-line, to the point that they were once the highest paid O-line in the game. And we still did nothing.

Overpay Derek Carr to the point he was at one point the highest paid QB in the league. And he still did nothing.

Signed an over-the-hill Jimmy Garoppolo to be our starting QB
