While Tyreek Hill was Traded/signed with Miami from Chiefs in the same week as Adams went to Raiders from Packs for similar coin.

I would take Tyreek any day of the week.

Tyreek is on track to make over 2000 yards this season.

It helps having a QB that can hit you in open space.

To be fair, sacking that peanut McDaniels is a good move.

Because he's awful.
Surprised he got another gig after his Denver stint a decade ago.

How many of Belichicks assistants have actually had success in the HC role after leaving Pats.

Most have been utter failures which reinforces one man was carrying that organization and you could have put any dipshit into a coordinator role and would look good.

Oh I don't disagree at all he was garbage. Bisaccia did a much better job than him and should have been given the chance over McDaniels.
Outside of that Del Rio is the only decent one of the 12 coaches we have had since Gruden 1.0

Oakland where better off blowing it up, tanking and hoping a good crop of QBs where available with a good pick.
It's better to be terrible then to have 7 win each season. That is how you get stuck. Like Washington and Giants.

We need a lot more than a QB:

Our o-line is overpaid, and underperforming

Our secondary is abysmal, both in run support, and play coverage

Outside of Max Crosby, our D-line is garbage, and can't stop anything

We'd need to tank for years just to be competitive.

does tanking work but? washteam, jets, browns etc have been doing it forever

Yeah, I'm not sure it does work, tbh.

And this Raiders team has issues all over the field - over-rated O-line, no secondary, a D-line with no starch...

Garoppolo is a mild upgrade on Carr, but that's only because Derek Carr has been stealing a living as a QB for decades.

If get lucky. Bengals and Jacksonville did when great QBs available.
But 3/4yrs you end up with an average no 1 QB pick.

I think we could luck out, and get a quality QB - but until we fix our O-line, it would be for nothing.

Our O-line collapses the pocket at the slightest whiff of outside pressure, and their ability to switch gaps when blitzes are picked up is poor.

I'd like to see us shore up our O-line.

Sometimes sides get lucky. Look at Philli with Hurts. Had Wentz who they traded up for didn't flunk they don't take Hurts.
