Hayne left the NRL to play this game? Seriously is there anything more boring? That last 2 minutes was like watching two Balkan bludging geriatrics play outdoor chess in Liverpool.

Hang on a sec, you prefer gridiron over football at the highest level? Answer me this what was more exciting the Socceroos winning on Saturday or that stop start soda pop shit that I just watched 2 minutes of?

Yeah I may be ignorant and maybe if I grew up in the U.S. I'd like it like my mungo but to even suggest that the Super Bowl is a bigger world event than the World Cup is a joke of epic proportions. You realise its called the world game for a reason don't you?

I find soccer ridiculously boring, I watched the soccer after Serina won. I was watching on Foxtel Go on the iPad, I had it on so I could at least hold a conversation with mates who enjoy soccer. I was more into Gotham that I was watching on the TV.

The game on Saturday was ordinary for me, I've never seen an exciting game of soccer and I've seen plenty of World Cup games. I don't get soccer, all they do is fall on the ground and claim penalties, it's f**king annoying tbh. Exciting is never a word I'd describe for soccer, ever.

In fact, the last 2 minutes of the Super Bowl today was more exciting than every game of soccer I've ever seen combined!!!!

But that's just me, we are all different I guess.

Fair enough. I just don't get the love for NFL. They do however make great movies about it. I'll give them that.

well easy, hence why it has far overtaken league in relation to my fav game, and growin up never thought that would ever happen

if people can watch cricket and soccer, then nfl is easy to follow

It's because NFL is a complex game, that requires mental attributes that most league fans can not fathom.

This.

What plays do you have in league? Oh bomb to the winger, throw a decoy right right - complex stuff.

Look I love league and parramatta, but nfl is better, simple as that. No shame in it, but I stated of as a casual fan watching the mighty bills sides of the 90's, and since then it has come to a stage where I am more pissed at a bills loss then an an eels - and bills have not been to the playoffs in 15 years lol

I get it. It's just that we're just not smart enough to understand the game.

I must ask Cletus to explain it to me.

once u understand the Xs and Os, you get a greater appreciation for how each individuals role helps the success of a play. as for soccer, i tried watching it sat nite but god dam that is a crap sport. if aliens ever view soccer footage to try and determine our strengths for an invasion, they'll turn up knowing they just have to blow air in our direction to win
