Dunno about that. It could be true but I doubt it.
2 million watched their game last week against Canada. More than the final day of The Ashes.
I hardly think FIFA would allow a change of kick off time for that reason.
There'll be hundreds of millions watching world wide. The Block is a threat to that? Lol.
And the promotion has been amazing but it depends on whether you listen to or watch the media.
It has been over all forms of media today and for the past week.
Watch any news bulletin tonight for example.

Well I will try and stay up and watch. I'll be in Hobart over the weekend so hoping we win so I can watch the qtr final there on Sat night with a few mulled wines.

Very happy with that result. Defence had Denmark covered, although they didn't ask too many questions of us. No apparent injuries - although Sam's slip in the box looked a little worrying...

So France or Morocco next!

What a cracking result and atmosphere.
Woman's sport is amazing.
75000 there.
But, can we just please stop the Oi Oi Oi chant.
It's f**king embarrassing.
Yeah never been a fan. I always tell my kids that you should never be ashamed of were you came from, but FMD I suffer from chronic cultural cringe with the AAAOOO.

I’ll tell you what I liked about the game, from a novice POV. I have watched the socceroos dozens of times play a passive game, always passing backwards, always protecting and not attacking. Last night the girls always promoted the ball forward and tried to create chances. So for that they get my respect.
