You DO know that it is mid January and that Canberra's dams still have water in them?

Yes. But the state of a permanent pitch is affected by how much prep you can give it before they start using it (and cutting it down, letting it grow back etc). And it doesn't matter how much water you've got, when the ground freezes the grass don't grow. We had frost in early December.

Yes, I'm fully aware you had frost in December. I'm a weather nerd, remember?
There is no reason why this should be a flat track, and all I'm saying is that your excuses make no sense.

My excuses? I don't give a f**k. Just explaining why a drop-in makes a lot more sense in the circumstances.

The flat track has suddenly turned into a minefield for the indians ... dropping like flies

That was crazy last night. Nine wickets for 47 runs and we must have dropped another 4.

Good job by a second string attack.

how is Oozie not in our ODI squad ?

It won't be long before that changes.
Usman is coming into his own these days. He's a class act, and just needed the few extra years of bad luck and injuries to sort himself out.

He'll be a mainstay of Aussie cricket for a while yet, once he cements his place in all forms of the game - like Warner and Smith.
