For the most part this is true, however I reckon that old mate who kneed Floyd is an exception to that. Some cops are just lawless merkins.

Sad thing is that it these shitbags excacerbate what I see as a bigger problem, which is the complete lack of respect for authority. The minority of bad cops ruin it for everyone.

There wasn't much else the cops could do there. Old mate wasn't restrained, but he was interfering with the cops and making them less safe. He could've had a knife, so if they just ignored him they might've been stabbed in the neck.

Obviously not. The killer might not have wanted to kill Floyd George but he is certainly guilty of a violent crime.

I disagree. IMO the tone of the thread is going down the line of there are currently some idiots “protesting” and showing as disposable behaviour as the officer above.

Is anyone actually taken a pro-activist stance ? I agree for one that there is an unacceptable risk of community transmission. So far there is no evidence of transmission from last week's protests, but then again we need to wait for that 14 day window to close.

Merkins who attended the BLM event last week should have had themselves tested by now.

^^ However I understand why there are mixed messages out there. Westfields (indoors) is packed, however a protest (outdoors) is "unauthorised" and merkins are facing arrest.

Bro the BLM protests are about creating awareness of the violence and systemic racism towards people of colour. It all started by a NFL player taking the knee during the US national anthem.

It gained momentum because the "patriots" saw it as a protest against the country. Which it never was. Then Trump called him a son of a bitch. *boom*
