Maybe, maybe not, chicken / egg, respect though is earned. Not gifted.

There's a lot inferred with the office, but again, he's trashed the office, cry me a f**king river.
I’m not crying. I couldn’t care and think he has behaved poorly but he did get some shit done for his country and they show zero respect. One thing is for sure he has done more than these lefty celebrities and the f**kwits from the progressive left like Cenk and his Young Turks.

I didn't say you were, it's a turn of phrase.

He's achieved more than a bunch of talking heads is a pretty low bar to set mate.

He's the f**king POTUS. He could literally do f**k all and achieve more.

Their standards are garbage. He has challenged them and they haven’t liked it that’s why they are so nasty now.

Well the man in question has no respect for the truth, and he and his reps continues to sprout baseless crap. You deserve respect until you demonstrate that you don't deserve it. If they ever produced any details or evidence of the alleged fraud that they are referring to in these briefings, this would not happen. Respect is a two-way street.

I’m talking about cutting him or his reps off. Do they have no respect?

what's to respect ? I can honestly say I've never seen anyone behave like he does

you have to be a low life for Murdock's mob to treat him like they did

The existence of a bureaucratic/media elite is no conspiracy theory. It was known as the swamp long before Trump threatened to drain it.

It's neither members of the media nor the bureaucrats that are the elite in a corporatocracy, they are at worse useful idiots, much like the Donald. Except for that he has been a far more useful idiot than most, given his uncanny ability to recruit mass numbers of useful idiots to his cause.

Like all useful idiots, it would seem, beyond securing support in GA for the senate runoffs, he has outlived his usefulness.

I couldn't agree more. He's a (former) President of the USA. His behavior has been a dummy spit of the highest order. Toys out of the pram stuff. I can't believe that he gets away with the shite he does.
And to think we lost JFK the way we did? What is it with the USA? Trump has behaved like a big baby.
The stuff he has carried on with wouldn't last 5 minutes here.
The guy is a complete f**kwit.

Yeh, when you line a bloke like Trump up against a great and decent man like John McCain you have to wonder. Arizona Karma sucks for Donald.

If they benefit they're not idiots. Just useful

And if they think they benefit, is that enough?

Draining the swamp is a meaningless catchphrase from a hollow-man salesman, who sells to those that want to believe it'll happen, enough to believe it did.

What percentage of people are idiots? And where does Trump rank? I don't think he's an idiot. He's probably up towards the top 10% imo but politics isn't my thing and I reckon even if he was close to that people would still argue he's an idiot.

Bureaucrats and the media definitely benefit from establishment politics.

Well it's not something that can happen in four years. If Covid hadn't happened (how convenient) he might've managed it in eight. Now we'll never know.

But draining the swamp has been a term used about Washington DC since another populist, Reagan, said it in the eighties.

Like I said, at worse, but it wasn't those people I was referring to in that particular comment.

We don't need another four years to see what's been as plain as day since day one.

And yes, Reagan left quite the impression on Trump it seems, least in the sloganeering department anyways.

Im confused, did Trump drain the swamp or not?
The swamp was well and truly drained before Covid hit. Now merkins are terrified they won't be able to feed their kids (or pay off their college debts) and so they voted in a bunch of socialists. The swamp will fill up again but another hero will emerge down the track.

Democracy isn’t perfect but it is better than whatever the f**k the alternative is.

Drain the swamp? The fairy flossed haired merkin couldn’t even drain his own python.

It was drained until Covid hit. The people were hopeful and Trump was doing well in the polls. Then the economy tanked and the voters shat themselves. People are happy for the establishment to have their snouts in the trough if it means there's some government crumbs for them. If I was struggling to feed my kids I'd feel the same way.

So you’re now saying it is something that can be done in 4 years??

I can’t keep up with such flip floppery
