What’s this?

Still more useless mind numbing news being drip fed to people from the ukkie front

Germ warfare?

UN Security Council adopts @hindy111 and my earlier stated position on bio weapons.

The refugee count at 5 million and counting. So many dead and about to be killed.

A report on China;

China under pressure to try to influence the ruskies and not send weapons over.

Here’s an article about it from the Washington Post.

China Facts?

Chinas heading into a downturn with its economy, it still sells a lot to the West and many western businesses like China due to costs structures. Plus it’s interesting that they are suffering high gas prices too.

That they are a new world power, seeking their “place in the sun.” Not altogether interested in being dominated by overseas interests and with many mouths to feed. Very complex country.

It’s economy is about 10 times bigger than ours, but it has a staggering 50 times the population. $200 AUD a week is a pretty good income. You could fill up the Great Wall truck for about $1.11 usd a litre in January.

Australia likes China economically.

Sources: Wikipedia, trading economics. com and iPhone 8 Plus calculator app (factory) plus those mentioned.

The Ruskies

I was able to access the Russian government backed RT last week to see what they were saying, but I have a denial of service message now.

As I’ve said, Im backing the safety of civilians, the kids, the sick and elderly. All the people who can’t fight or don’t want to.

We may need to get used to a different world in the short term. Inflation hasn’t really hit us yet.

Predictions about fuel prices very scary and the carriers pass this on to the shops. When the humble kfc (proud sponsors of the Wests Tigers) zinger burger meal cost $20 -times will be tough.

Bravo South Australia!

Now the rest of the country only has to wait two months to have their say, and also kick the dilapidated LNP rabble out.

Yet Albanese is so unlikeable…

Might be time for a president with some executive powers and a third house.

If Labor want to win, they should stfu.

But Albo will probably crap on and might snatch defeat from the jaws of victory!

Albanese is much less unlikeable than Scummo. (And Barnaby. And Dutton. And Hawke. And Taylor. And Robert. And Tudge. And Mckenzie. And Cash...)

Happy enough with becoming a republic sometime in the future though.

Yeah, with those kinds of friends, you could well have a point.

The existence of Dutton on his own just might get me to vote Labor…a few times.

Barnaby is a complete soul sucking flog and Cash seems to hate poor people.

I'm hoping they implode in the next week or two (given the extent and implications of the SA loss) and for Dutton to bring on a leadership spill in their Budget week - would be hilarious to watch!

Yeah I thought Marshall would limp home, although he’s handy with the knife.

I think the libs in NSW should be put out of their misery. All the new guy seems to be doing is putting in more speed cameras which is ok where they are needed, but they seem to be springing up everywhere they are not.

Sadly this is how most people vote.

Just creates popularity contests and ultimately breeds shit politicians.

He comes across as a bit of a boof.

His very fast train announcement during the peak of covid round 2 when we couldn’t get any tests at the chemists and people were in trouble was annoying.

Small business is in big trouble. Empty shops everywhere in my areas.

Of course Scomo is completely out of touch and hasn’t done enough to help civilians in the Ukraine and the nsw flood response has been a disaster in its own right.

When you have to rely on surfers and citizen volunteers ( at their own time and expense) to save your life, things are bad. I’ve been in floods, they can be scary. You can stay afloat on your own for a little while until you lose energy, go under and drown. If something hits you that’s worse still.

And rescuers have to make decisions with incomplete information and resources.

That’s not leadership, it’s piking.

He’s boring and a hard core political operative. Has made very little impact on a woeful federal government doing its best to lose the next election. No interesting policies.

I don’t like him, but I’ll vote on policies.

Scomo is a clown. $50m on weapons to defend the Ukraine, when little kids there running away from bombs can’t get cancer treatment.

He’d have been better off seconding passenger jets to fly to Poland and to airlift as many suffering ukkies here for the duration.

Small target shit.

Detailed suites of policy are fear factory stuff for an opposition, why give a leg up to a government that's drowning.

Mind you, we might see a bit of policy once an election is actually called.

People wouldn’t mind some temporary relief in the Petrol excise, housing needs to be affordable, energy is way too expensive for a country rich in resources and small business needs help.

Cut course times for students, make going in to work optional for people who actually don’t need to go in.

Inheritance taxes on the mega wealthy.

No more sending weapons overseas.

Less regulation in some areas, more in others.

Substantial change in criminal laws and civil laws.

Basic foodstuff laws. Subsidies for low income earners.

Nationalise insurance companies.

Free internet, no in built obsolescence.

Subsidised health club and gym benefits.

Restrictions on number of pets in a built environment.

Medicare type funding of legal system so people can protect themselves inexpensively but with limits on lawyers fees etc.

Borrow some ideas off the eu. They’ve got a couple of good laws. They’ve got one proposed now where they want to standardise iPhone charging ports. Remember the old longer wider ones? They don’t see any point in the design of a new thin one. It creates a lot of waste. Apple etc is whinging that it will stifle innovation. The iPhone 16 may have another charger port. A two pronged thing and that’s more unnecessary expense and waste. I understand the eu.

Steady on there Bill Shorten.

Which gives me the idea of free iPhone for all people over say 15 with free connection with basic services.

Oh yeah and one fully owned government bank to keep the other banks competitive. Like the Commonwealth Bank used to be.

No mum and dad shareholders, no pursuit of greed, just a committee drawn from the mug public.

And these all electric car folk, hello increased rego costs. That’s coming anyway to cover for the lost excise, but you will be fine because I will subsidise your solar panels to run the car. You can still save the planet, but chip in for roads and government services like the rest of us filth.

I’m just warming up.

The NRL made $80m profit last year, but we still have empty seats.

Under my government, $5 a game per person max.

Local councils forbidden to fine legally parked cars on game day for going over parking time.

Vending machines to reduce queues.
