The best he can do is to try to get some kind of balance of power somewhere and try to cut deals to make him wealthier and more powerful.

So if you were negotiating with the supplier you'd say "Tanks, but no tanks"....

It's far more complicated than you make out. First, don't assume that we are getting tanks to use on our soil. Second, tanks are sitting ducks only when you go out alone with no air defence support. When taking or defending ground, you need armoured vehicles.

ScoMo has got to go.

I don't like the guy but at the sametime has he been that bad? He has had to deal with a pandemic,bushfire,floods. 3 once in a 100yr events.

Yeah he went on a holidays during bushfire but the economy is firing still. The only issue I see is potential trouble -

Living costs are climbing fast
Banks threw 1 million to many people at these 1.95% fixed 4yr loans. In the next 2yrs all these periods end. Right now you would be looking at 3.5% for a 3yr fixed. That's before the official cash rates gone up. Once it does it will hit 5%

I'm sure most people will afford to pay the loan but they will have less to spend elsewhere .
The price of renoes and build materials has gone up about 40% in 18mths. It's a sharp rise. A lot of older houses are going to be worth nothing but the land now.

Things are holding together right now. I wouldn't be suprissed in 2yrs time if we see dramas. And if Labor get in they will wear the grunt.
