The Teo case is perplexing. So patients had brain tumours and Charlie saved many lives. Lost a few and some accused him of not explaining properly the risks involved in the procedures? Or perhaps that the cancer was inoperable and they should give up.

My step father died of lung cancer and I tell you my Mum would have tried / paid anything for him to live another 3 months. So I'm not fully understanding the allegations, context and why Dr Teo has been cancelled.

You know how Rupert Murdoch hates the ABC and sees their free content as a pain in the arse to his paywall business model ? He directs SkyNews and all his news papers to sledge the ABC whenever possible. Indeed the LNP pollies that he has on a short leash have campaigned on his behalf to privatise or dumb down the ABC to just rural news and cartoons.

Well that story is not unique to Australia, as he has been staging the same war against the BBC in the UK as well. The latest attack is against a long time news guy who they have ratted on for going on Only Fans and paying money to watch an over 18 woman do her thing. Consenting adults, yet The Sun have crucified him to the point where his life, marriage, career and mental health is in pieces.

There were eight findings in all, and given its the registration body making the rulings, it effectively ends his career. But like all good arrogant narcissists (and BR-S before him), Teo had definitely done his job sculpting his media over the years, so the reality/come down will (by design) seem a bit hard for many to fathom.

Not that it makes any difference in the situation or the point you make, but I think the first allegation was for payments made to an under 18 (but over 16) male, noting that I think 16 is the age of sexual consent over there anyway.
