I saw on the ABC last night that according to Roy Morgan, Qantas have gone from #3 most trusted brand to one of the least trusted - a drop of 113 places.

I don't know who said this (maybe me) but it takes decades to build a reputation and a few idiotic decisions to destroy it.

For mine, it was Qantas joining the shit squad of the budget airlines like Tiger / Air Asia / Scoot etc and cancelling flights for reasons. Qantas should always fly on time and never treat their customers like they are cattle and leave them in terminals giving zero f**ks. That's why merkins have traditionally opted to pay a premium for Qantas seats.

Fix it f**kers. Nobody cares about the rest of the shit. Just take off when you are supposed to and land in the right city. It's not that hard.

Look at Malaysian Airlines - in 2014 they had 2 major incidents a plane disappearing and then the Russians shooting another down.

You could say there reputation hasn't recovered since and its almost a decade since.

They had a lunatic on there plane about a month ago which caused dramas & brought more unfortunate heat on them.

But the stigma of 2014 and what happened with those 2 planes could take 2-3 decades to truly recover from.

For people that don't quite know how preposterous this is, just look at the damages awarded in the Jones case for him using his right to freedom of speech to initially state that the Sandy Hook shooting may have been a false flag, which he then retracted and reversed his OPINION and said that it was real from what he can tell.

Initially they asked for just under $1B, but then the families and judge asked for $2.75T and would that be enough to silence him for good?
