I’m not obfuscating and agree that we should be one big happy family. Shouting at people to move on and complaining that someone with privilege is being hard done by isn’t the solution though.

PM of sweaty man boobs sent…

Who's complaining from privilege. What so you see all aboriginals as failures and victims? Like there aren't hundreds of thousands of them that are just as privileged as the rest of us and benefited from all the advantages and developments we have together created and only a small minority of them are actually classed as poor or living on poverty, just like a small minority of other Australians are too.

I don't think many of our aboriginal football stars would consider their lives to be anything but privileged as they themselves have told us on many occasions, would you? What people do with that privilege is another thing all together though. Just being in Australia and being an Australian citizen for mine is a wonderful honour and privilege that not to many other people in the world can claim as equally great.

We as Australians are so blessed and you want to fragment us and put us in boxes of the haves and have nots.

Shame on you. Are there people that are struggling in our nation that shouldn't be? Of course there are but that id due largely to Globalist policy not for real or true scarcity and it exist no matter what you colour or background.

We don't need Constitutional change to fix poverty, we need leaders that actually care to fix the problem and stop playing politics for the greedy evil Globalists.

Oh what PM, no PM...I want my filthy sweaty girly norks!

This is not what the referendum on Constitutional recognition or the Voice advisory body is about.

Actually, leaders of all parties, styles and strengths have been trying for several decades. Time to not wait for one unicorn leader that will never materialise (looking at current stocks on both sides of politics).

Time to vote Yes and give a different approach a chance - it doesn't cause any harm.

You. You have a skewed view of the past (“we helped them out FFS”) and then when questioned on any of the detail resort to a “quit living the past” mantra. By doing so, you ignore facts and a reality that doesn’t suit your narrative.

That on its own isn’t great, but you then top it off by complaining that the voice is some sort of reverse discrimination. I get the argument, but don’t agree.

Of course there are examples of successful indigenous people. But have you looked at the closing the gap reports? Have you been to remote Aboriginal communities to see the problems they are encountering? Do you acknowledge that there are broad inequalities?

How do you propose that these get addressed without greater representation and involvement from those affected? That is all the voice is seeking to do which is why I am not scared of it.

Like I have said on many occasions. It's not about one leader or a particular party or another.

It is the whole lot of them, all political classes and bureaucrats. They are the same. Dog sh*t that want to divide us all for their continued power and self aggrandizement. You know the old but no less true, divide and conquer routine? I know you and your mates hate old truisms but they are still around for a very good reason.

Anyway. Just piss off. I'm bored now. Like talking to a vacuum cleaner that never stops sucking the life out of sh*t and making to much annoying and unwanted or needed noise. Ok when there is a little dirt around, a necessary greedy evil, but then it needs to be put away so the whole family can just sit down and have a peaceful and rocking good time together, with plenty of sh*t and giggles along the way.

You are just a self proclaimed sh*t stirring pest! So you can just P*ss off now! Thank you.

Be gone greedy evil. Be gone!

Of course there are, but for starters it is a very small sub group that the majority of aboriginals don't belong to. And as you yourself have stated it isn't a money issue even though there are billions thrown at it each and every year. So it is a distribution, incompetence and or corruption problem.

So how does any of that get fixed or changed by altering the constitution to give a new political bureaucratic voice that no one will elect more say and therefore more power over the rest of us? I mean they can't seem to even get a simple money in money out ledger right in distribution to the right people and you want to create a whole new body with even more power and responsibilities then they have now. What could possibly go wrong?

Don't say that that won't be the case, because that is exactly what is happening here if the VOICE gets up and you know it.

Uncle Clive is in the Federal Court right now before that globalist Justice Rares, doing Dutton's merkining over whether an X is a s good as a No, even though in the past eleventy referendums you have been traditionally asked to write YES or NO as well.

He knows it will fail, but it's fodder for the NO campaign to cry unfair for something else. IIRC Uncle Clive foreshadowed that past elections have been rigged. How Trump of him.

No-one's going anywhere. But you seem upset about opinions regarding the referendum (or is it Aboriginal people) that are different to yours? And upset when people don't agree with the opinions on those matters you've formed?

So be it. Perhaps you'll feel better about it all - and the unstoppable momentum for a Yes vote - once you've had a Bex and a lie down.

So is your position that we do nothing? Or is it stronger than that i.e the voice is a solution looking for a problem?

Like the Voice that the indigenous Sámi people have had in Sweden, Norway and Denmark for 30+ years ? What happened in those countries ? Do you know ? No, of course you don't.

“They don't have any lawmaking function, they don't vote on bills before their country’s parliament, so they’re not a chamber of parliament but a separate body that makes representations to the national government when it's considering issues that particularly affect the Sámi people.”

Sound familiar ?

To me, having a referendum to enshrine the Voice in the constitution (as requested by a group of Indigenous Australians who believe it will help fix problems) is not "playing politics" especially when the idea was not yours and is not likely to win you votes

To me playing politics would be setting up a conference with indigenous Australians to find ways to solve problems that they are facing and then ignoring anything that they request from you because it doesn't suit your politics

Clive has a good 3 weeks to practice writing "no"

Former LNP Federal Minister (and Indigenous Australia) Ken Wyatt, explaining the history (including LNP support) behind how we got to this referendum.

5min watch, recommended for anyone who doesn't see the point/agree with Constitutional recognition and the Voice advisory body.

There are problem obviously, but the political and bureaucracy class as they have shown can not be trusted to fix it and only corruption will get worse with anything either of them in the current climate will offer or propose, so for now do nothing to the constitution is the best option till and if we ever get our country/countries back.

Sorry but that is the current state of the situation not only for the aboriginal issues, which by the way is not for the overwhelming number of aboriginals, but certain isolated and impoverished communities.

To me, having the Voice for Indigenous Australians to give advice on matters relating to Indigenous Australians would be removing the current political and bureaucracy class from the matter

That seems to be something that you also would like to see i.e. less involvement of the political and bureaucracy class in things that they aren't good at

What does ‘getting our country back’ look like? How long will that take?

Exactly. Let’s give people control and self-determination but only if they are people we trust. Seems hypocritical.

Lol, so much to unpack there... sounds like some deluded shit I heard Angry Anderson

Unfortunately you're discussion here is possibly damaging your credibility when it comes to your football observations and discussion elsewhere.

Well that's a nice spin if you are that silly enough to believe it.

Bureaucracy is the very definition of what they will be building here and untouchable by anyone.

Don't believe the misinterpreting of the one page nonsense that they are peddling, which is actually 18 pages going on 26 pages.

You guys are like babies crawling through the woods while the wolves are setting the table for a feast of the ages.

Wake the 'F' UP!

Jeez when was the last time any politician told the freakin truth? Even you guys are constantly bickering and arguing and accusing each others team(side) as the lying reneging this or that and now all of a sudden they are the most honest bunch of virtuous saints the world has ever seen.

Wake the f**k up! Why do I even waste my time?
