The Voice, something something Canberra Elites. But but so and so spent more. Same shit different story. If you're going to point the finger in politics, you damn well need to make sure that your nose is clean.

Liberal Senator Jacinta Nampijinpa Price has defended billing taxpayers $76,509.19 for 76 business class flights between her election in May, 2022 and July 2023.

now you're getting it, it's their country and we are the newbies, they should be voting to give us a voice

I can understand how you don't want to lose your home, don't you think they deserve the same courtesy ?

What?

White guilt to the max. When will they give us all the royalties of everything that they have used bar the Boomerang and benefited from since we got here?

Aboriginals have appropriated everything and have a much better life for it. So what do they owe us?

Not that I actually mean that, but that is how silly your argument is. Tit for tat. The problem is though they to by your lexicon stole the land from the very first drifting log of families or group that got here. It is a ridiculous argument. First is not the owner of a massive continent land mass that only had around a million people at most on it that didn't have the means or capability to populate and or improve it to sustain and grow their dominance over the land and therefor hold on to it, from the next wave of people that did.

I know your bleeding heart will hate this, but we have given the majority of aboriginals a much better life then their forefathers could ever have dreamed of. This is just a money and power grab by a few greedy evils that will always want more.

By enlarge most aboriginals are like you and me, middle class that want to enjoy life, have a beer on the weekends and watch the foot and get a leg over at the end of the night before passing out and let the wife clean up the mess.

If that sounds like you congratulations, you're a fair dinkum Aussie.

Also you do realise they didn't even have or know of the concept of 'Country' until we gave it to them?

Like I said, we made them a better people that stopped killing each other and united them as one respectful of each other and a way higher and better standard of living.

Now you may hate that and want them to go back to hating each other and living in poverty eating kangaroos and witchetty grubs but I don't. I love my fellow aboriginal and wish them all the success and happiness our collective co-operation and work together can afford all of us.

We are one Australia mate and no matter how much you hate that, I for one will be voting a big fat 'NO' to breaking our great bond together.

Hey Siri, what is gaslighting ?

“The stolen generation is a mistruth,” she said at a referendum event in Adelaide in June headlined by One Nation leader Pauline Hanson and fellow No campaign leader Gary Johns. “Back in the early 1950s and 1960s, mixed race children were being removed and placed in institutions for their own safety.”

wrong way around mate,

so they benefitted by having their land taken from them and also the stolen generation ?

I know your bleeding heart will hate this, but we have given the majority of aboriginals a much better life then their forefathers could ever have dreamed of.

I know that's how you see it, which is sad actually

What we have done is taken away their land and life style and forced our culture onto them. Their forefathers were quite happy till we got here then everything changed for them and forced a lot of them to live in our cities under our culture

there is absolutely no evidence for this, they are referred to as First Nations people for a reason

Like I said, we made them a better people that stopped killing each other and united them as one respectful of each other and a way higher and better standard of living.

yeah, cuz non-indigenous people never kill each other and you want us to teach them to live like white privileged people ?

you have zero respect for their culture because you think yours is so superior

Are you sure? It looked like your casual racism almost slipped out on full view there... so desperate (fearful) you seem to be about arguing against simple and overdue Constitutional recognition and the Voice advisory body.

Unless you mean "a country" as in a federated Australia?

But that concept didn't occur until 1901... so you could equally say that "we" (racist much?) didn't have or know of the concept between 1788 and 1900 either.

So again, you're making no sense... and that's also not what the referendum is about.

lol

I've spoken to people from the stolen generation and they told me what it was like growing up back then, they are obviously very old now

wonder what they would think if I told them that it never happened, lol

Reality is brutal and not so nice is it my little social justice warrior?
What is brutal is your ignorance and pig headed arrogance.

65,000 years they lived here quite fine and thrived off the land.

Yet you choose to denigrate them by saying that they hated each other ? W the actual F and then to ridicule them because of their choice of protein ?

There is zero evidence of any malnutrition in the indigenous population before colonisation. They were fit and healthy and their life expectancy was superior than the diseased slums of the colonialists.

200 years of western culture has managed to pretty much f**k this planet and you want them to thank you ?

Oh really. I wonder how many would want to go back to this?

Yeah it's called changing history to suit the narrative. Having the term nation is way better then hundreds of feuding jealous old superstitious tribes fighting each other for millennia isn't it?

Show me the history that proves your revised history right? And that bullsh*ting ABC promoted fellow that reckons they had a civilisation of housing and infrastructure doesn't count.
