Disgusting. Quit bringing the tone of this thread down with such vulgarity.
You’ve been the absolute forum tartlet this weekend.

You should find better ways to amuse yourself than being a screaming wokey warbling bender.

A seaweed smoking lentil loving moof.

Happy now?!

From an objective point of view, @TheRam has owned you good and proper.

I’ve felt embarrassed for you.

“Feelings don’t care about facts.”

I’m surprised I didn’t get more “likes” with my condemnation of skirt- chasers.

I’m thinking we should sell off the rest of the commonwealth bank and set up a new government bank that helps people.

But I don’t lean left or right, only forwards or backwards as us extreme centrists roll.

I meant lean towards guilty or not guilty, not left or right.

The star chamber court of the silicon valley is de-monetising Brand.

Corporate control over justice.

These are businesses, they are well entitled to decide who is able to make coin from their platform, and the conditions under which they do, provided of course these decisions are within the law.

Whether or not some skanky soap dodger is afforded a platform is neither here nor there, it's bit play stuff.

The problem with these large social media / tech corps is not that they can cancel the likes of Brand from their platforms, the problem is that they have been allowed to become such behemoths that when they make such decisions it can be so influential.

Much as it is with the traditional media landscape

I agree.

But in my view of the world, things can be fixed and rectified.

Introduce “benefit of the doubt” legislation with tech facing penalties for meddling.

But I can accept that there might not be too much political will to try this. It would take a trump like figure then it would be reversed once the hacks get back in.

Speaking of hacks;

I heard this morning that Centrelink has been hacked again. Any of the panel getting any kid, aged or UB40, benefit etc or knows anyone getting anything, Check your account.

I was going to say we have seen some promise with the EU making laws that make a lot of sense to protect consumers.

In theory, corporations are beholden to government and regulators.

They could put pressure on YouTube about anything couldn’t they?

Im thinking once we have resolved more pressing issues, we should make access to web technology a human right in some form or another.

Why we fight, my tribute to the west:-
