The idea for the Gaza Strip of land is an interesting idea. It seems like the first new idea in decades actually.
…but he modified it today, I think acknowledging he went too far.

Interesting as he’s not too quick to correct, he usually prefers matters to stew.

The plight of the Gaza folk has garnered a lot of sympathy from people all around the world as much as the hamas attack I’d say.

So having modified his position later, he’s opened the door that he might do it again on another issue.

He’s not locking himself in to anything.

But I think he realised the statement was unrealistic and very unhelpful.

I thought Israel cashed in a lot of world sympathy when they levelled Gaza.

And I suspect the more ferocious of their critics start attacking innocent Jewish folk in Sydney, which is despicable and deplorable.

A twisted retaliation.

And I’m not sure Trumpy saw the danger he could have been leading others into.

He came out this bad idea, so it’s not a hidden agenda for you conspiracy theorists!

The only reason the Combover Rapist modified his Gaza plan was because a bunch of his Yes-Men in the Republican party let him know what a truly moronic idea it was.
If you want to know if a Trump brain fart will actually happen on not it is fairly simple.
Put it on a scale of 1 to 10 where 1 is easy and 10 is difficult (i.e. you actually have to do something)

Anything below 3 actually happens e.g. signing an executive order
Anything that takes negotiation, planning and co-operation doesn't happen e.g. building a border wall

Unless you accept he is not thinking of a 100% success rate.

This is the most logical conclusion of his analysts.

Keeping people guessing is good strategy for most things. Maybe not Gaza though. A tad extreme.

He’s not to be boxed in. He’s unlike standard pollies.

whatever it is the strategy works
he says stupid things
stupid things get media coverage
his opponents get outraged and talk about him
his supporters lap it up because the other side is upset
nothing happens but people get to win/lose
