Got dragged along to see Athol new years eve. In a 2 hour show he spent an hour 20 talking about how good he is, who he's met etc including 15 mins about how the seekers were better than the beetles.

Me too but decided to have a look on Googlepedia and found that page. I didn't even know Meat Loaf had fallen off his perch

Tom Springfield, brother of Dusty, composed and produced many of The Seekers' hits, and in his earlier days had his own band The Springfields, of which Dusty was a member. He was 88.
