The monkees were great.
The tv show was unreal fun, the music was amazing.
Mike Nesmith wrote the classic “different drum” for Linda Ronstsdts first band “ the stone pony’s”
The lemonheads did a freakin righteous cover of it.

Only Jones and Tork are dream believers, the other 2 are still with us.

My bad.
Read a comment on News.com,where it was stated Dolenz is the only surviving member. When in fact Nesmith had left the group well prior. Thus he had not carked it.

Yep Monkees music catchy, and still enjoy Daydream Believer today.
She was a stunner at her peak.
Had a relationship with Jerry Brown the Californian Gov.
Unfortunately now has Parkinson's disease.
Was Mike Nesmith the one ,whose mother invented liquid paper to blot out type?

I'll wait for @tom of poland to say a few words .
He is a big Monkees fan.

Yeah, I loved the show as a kid, loved the music even more, I am a sucker for a catchy jangly pop song, and have played a swag of Monkees covers in various bands over the years.

Sad to see Peter pass away, fellow bass player and keyboardist, he didn't have the vocal chops but was a great multi-instrumentalist. Incidentally Micky and Mike toured as "The Monkees Present the Micky and Mike show" last year and will be touring again this year and coming to our town in June. Peter was asked to tour with them last year but knocked them back on health grounds.

Frenzy.
