The hair bears, Roosters hate 'em.

Tony Puletua 2003 makes anyside ever.

I loved them and Preston, so much love.

Angry at other times, that bought me joy.
03 Puletua was epic. Absolute beast he was.

Presto was magic. Penny Panthers can thank Chris Ando for that

let’s talk about the other half of the hairbear team for a second. For a guy who started his career as a struggling fullback in a pretty dire Warriors side he’d come a hell of a long way in a pretty short time to get to those heights in 2003.

Fine Penrith pack that and some real impetus from the bench with Waterhouse and Ross...

2003 was interesting, vividly remember Lowie coming out and saying Penrith had no chance of beating us... I was like, "they're the minor premiers, and look at that pack..."

Lowie was wrong again... but all the great packs above that won comps, and some that didn't... have we every had a truly great pack? I guess 02 was the peak... but not, IMO, a great pack - very good, some journeymen in great form, and Ali who could have been anything...

We had a great pack in 2005, arguably our best ever. But a shit coach and a side sorely lacking creativity.

Look, I'm not big into conspiracy theories, but this guy raises some good questions that should be asked of people like Fauci and Gates
I was meaning to watch this when i had time to, but when I checked this morning, someone has taken it down, not sure if the news channel or youtube removed the original clip? which is interesting.

From the image I can see a Doctor I know of that used to work in an ER in the states.

He and his bussiness partner (also a former Doctor) argue that states should be opened and that there is no good science behind the lockdown.

If that is the orginal video you were posting, I can speak to that clip, because someone else showed it to me, and I did some background checking.

Turns out that those Doctors own and have invested huge amounts of money into a Covid private testing facility.

From their pov, it is in their best interest for the disease to spread since that would sell more tests and be good for business.

Cleverly at the start they do casually mention they are coming from an 'entrepreneurial' and medical position...

America sucks.

Enjoyed these 2 quotes from the Teflon crew

Have to also laugh at the consideration of having some extra public holidays, I love a day off, but we were couped up for a month while business owners dipped into their own pockets with pretty much nothing coming in and now we consider throwing that at them as well

Jacinda plays the game extremely well, says she will “actively consider” it so keeps everyone happy without giving a yes or no answer. Not a big Peters fan but at least he came out and said he was against it

I’m not a politics man at all but somehow have been drawn into it lately lol, think what captured me the most was how the government voted against compulsory paycuts for MPs while they trot out constantly the “team of 5 million” garbage. This stuff wouldn’t be public knowledge without Seymour around either

Yet the PM announced the pay cut as fact to great acclaim lol

Some positive developments. Immunity may last long enough to make Vaccines or worst case herd immunity by infection possible.

Vaccines seem to be making good ground too, although still a long way off.

Shame Christopher Luxton isn't available to challenge Simon Bridges. Still there is always next year.

The government and the police really need to get together re gathering limits instead of contradicting each other in the media.

Jacinda has managed the crisis well up Level 2 IMO

I like that the government is using this as an opportunity to examine ideas like a 4 days working week. It’s a good opportunity to look at the last couple of months and see which forced adjustments have actually worked and which haven’t, and try to learn and improve form them. That’s what proper progressive government does, rather than take the approach of “let’s get everything back to where it was before the pandemic like it never happened”, which at best limits the damage but doesn’t give us any opportunity to learn from it.
I don’t see how extra public holidays come into it though- I’m interested in the justification for that.

I know a public forum isn't always the best place to have a health discussion, but given your background I'm interested in your thoughts.

A lot of people have been asking me as a former Nurse if it is okay to take Ibuprofen, because there are rumors and also founded concerns about Covid 19 and NSAID use (I am aware of the literature re side effects and contraindications).

I tell them the obvious, don't take anything unless you have checked with your doctor or you Pharmacist.

I use Ibuprofen over the counter from time to time, but I decided to take paracetamol instead since this thing broke out.

I don't expect you to give specific health advice over the interweb, I'm probably more interested in whether you have had this question raised in your circles.
Sorry for the delay in replay, stepped away from a lot of online stuff during the madness as life and work got very busy and this pandemic became all consuming needing to keep on top of information to keep the public informed about topics very similar to this question and try to reduce some of the anxiety out there.

In short I see no issue and since this time it has been stated by WHO (who many are losing faith in, sad when they have done such good, but we are always remembered for the bad we do).
Some doctor saw a couple of patients not improved and ibuprofen on their medication list. Media jumped on it.

The above caused a massive run on paracetamol and forced it to go behind the counter at the pharmacy.

Supplies on some medications still restrained from suppliers eg Ventolin and there was a real threat it was going to become unavailable.

Will keep reading through the thread as about 6 weeks behind.

Things have settled down, but workload increased and closest I've come to burnout. Just kept thinking about those that have lost their jobs (including wife) during this all and lucky to have a job.
