Unlike Toyota, Holden have never been here for the Cronulla Sharks. Let them go.
haha look at this labor love-in.. Who cares Holdens are rubbish & Fords are worse. If you cant get a job near wher the holden plant was,...... move. Like a boat people person.

Yeah youse are right.
Just like all those unemployed tradie mates of yours on the Goldie. They should become boat like people and move or better still become QC's so they can drink coffees with you and give you advice.
Thgey did. 60% of the trade work-force from Lower Brisbane through to Norhtern Rivers now work in projects started by the great entrepreneuers of Australia.Yeah youse are right.

As soon as we push through the Galileo basin projects & get that Port built, there should be heaps of jobs for ex-holden workers.
But some whinging kkhhunts will try to stop it for sure.
Robbie Farah in his kangaroos jersey featured prominently "here".
Everything is "here", except the company.
I don't care if Holden sink or swim. The average Holden worker is subsidised around $50K by you and me.
My industry in IT isn't subsidised. I've seen thousands of jobs that have gone off shore. I speak for many in an industry that has had to compete with other countries, with no Australian taxpayer support.
f**k 'em, they're not that special.
Take the holden out of it and most punters wouldn't care that jobs have gone.
I see it all the time in my industry, sad part is some use it as political leverage while the actual family man is struggling.
