I thought Talakai was brought in in a terrible situation. Meant to be an imediate Impact player in heat of battle when virtually a newby??? Why was he held back in first half ? Un beleivable!
Same reason Cook wasn’t brought on when it was 12/12. Freddy is dumb

Yep my comment wasn’t a dog at him. Was more Freddy the super genius who played him in the middle and then hooked him.
He was only on the middle for about 2 mins. Then he swapped with Chriton and stunk it up.
Slow service and defence from 6m doesn’t help his game.
Defensively started well, but that miss on ponga was soft and a real bad effort

Also not one player from nsw went after tino after the burton/gagai fight
Not only that Tino Spaghetti should of spent 10 minutes in the bin for the blatant swinging arm to the head to Burton in the 1st Half.

Then in the second half he gets Burton in the head lock as third man in.

Like WTF Klein??

I disagree with Talakai comments that he had a stinker.

For me the loose carry was his only fault tonight.

The try Ponga scores he bounces off Luai and then Talakai is wrong footed because Ponga is heading away from the point Talakai originally thought he was going to be the second defender in.

If you want to know who had stinkers it was Cleary and Luai.

They badly directed NSW around the park and Cleary’s kicking game was woeful.

Thought Luai did more good than bad ,ive changed my mind about him ,so he will probably not play next yr , haha.

The NSW backline did not link up well at all tonight.

That falls on Luai and Cleary.

The lack of support play was also evident from the whole team. We made some breaks and half breaks in that 1st half but didn’t have much support play at all to capitalise on it.

It seemed we wanted to put more energy into the defence tonight and then we were gassed for attack.

NSW kicking game was horrible, high bomb every kick until that last one 😂😂

But it’ll be interesting to see who is the next third man in to be sin binned after tonight and Mitchell on the weekend both being spared…

As a rugby league fan, Qld's tactics were superb in the second half.
As a Sifa fan, he made a mistake and was hooked.
The real mistake though was Creighton and that silly, silly pass.
I'm now a little worried about our game. Qld will be on a massive high, both players and crowd.

Qld were pumped after Gagai snotted Burton, NSW didn't go to water or anything but from that moment QLD wanted it more. The penrith players were terrible, sifa wasn't great but he'll be the easy scapegoat. Tedesco is fast becoming another robbie farah ball hog that looks busy but isn't actually doing anything special

I agree BBB, Queensland‘s kicking game and attack was fantastic in that second half. They had players supporting the ball all game. Where NSW it was too much of individual play and no backing up the ball carrier.

They gave Cleary and Luai no room to attack and if you want to know one big part of beating Penrith is to be very aggressive to those two whenever they get the ball. Give them no time and cut their options down with aggressive defence.

You can definitely point out a lot of individual plays that turned the game in Queenslands favour. The Tupou incident just before HT to give QLD field position and score a try before the break. The Steven Crichton silly pass into the in goal to no one, the horrible pass by Luai over Talakai’s head and into touch etc. NSW lack of composure tonight was horrible to watch.

100% agree.

Sometimes one just has to accept that the other team were better.
