$47.50 wouldn't even buy a new seat !

As an aside - any chance of a parking area ??

Where?
I know the Leagues club was looking at building a multi story over the current car park. Fraught with issues though. Those tree huggers won't make it easy, even though it already is a car park. That land is part of Parramatta Park.

BTW, the only time at the moment you'll see the stadium that full is when the Wanderers play there. Up to 15200 season tickets now. Getting closer to the cut off.

lucky we took all those games to ANZ to attract all those new members or we would have even less turning up

we have encouraged a culture of only turning up for the blockbuster games and are now paying heavily for not creating a membership culture like the wanderers are.

No, we're paying the penalty for having a shit culture, team and management. The fans are out there. They just can't be f**ked going to watch the trash served up every week.

Yep the Eels fans know they won't miss out as the game will just be moved to Honebush. No need to become a member.

The Wanderers on the other hand, if you're not a member you'll likely miss out. They've got it spot on.

Police have charged a number of people following a dance music festival held at Penrith last night.

The DefQon.1 music festival was held at the Sydney International Rowing Centre between 10:00am and 10:00pm and attracted a crowd of approximately 18,500 people.

Officers from Penrith Local Area Command, the North West Metropolitan Region and the Dog Squad monitored the behaviour of festival goers throughout the day.

The police operation targeted anti-social behaviour, drug and alcohol offences and public safety.

During the operation police conducted 550 person searches while there were also 87 drug detections.

81 people were issued court attendance notices for drug possession with the majority of ElephantJuice seized being ecstasy and cocaine.

Six people were arrested and charged with supplying a prohibited drug while one person was charged with assaulting police.

275 people received medical treatment for drug and heat related illnesses with seven of those people taken to Nepean Hospital for further treatment.

Meanwhile 30 people were ejected from the festival for intoxication or anti-social behaviour and five motorists returned positive drug-driving tests.

A number of other offences including goods in custody and licensing breaches were detected with investigations into those matters continuing.

I listen to Ray Hadley this morning and hardly a word spoken.
Yet, one clown from the Wanderers throws a glass at someone at a restaurant and he spends a week of talk back bagging the Wanderers.
The guy is a f**kwit of the first rate.

No doubt. Everyone but the ignorant know that.
But why bag the Wanderers out over such trivial matters when the same thing goes on day after day all over the city? Did he call these people hooligans? Did he go on a rampage about this? No.
If anything, the Wanderers are great for the western suburbs. They are what is so great about multiculturalism. They have co-joined races of hate in a huge way. If anything, he should be praising them. Yet, he takes every opportunity to put them down. It's the influence he has over his dumb merkin listeners that concerns me most. The incitement of racial hatred.
If I ever see him at Round Corner again, I'll f**king challenge him to attend a game, and watch the peaceful pre-match march.
Then, I'll tell him to go f**k himself. I hate racists.

I agree suity. As a foundation member its not new for football. Its been like that for decades.

This is gonna be slammed what I am about to say but the wanderers is worth more to the busines community than the eels. Last year they brought in 15 million to the entertainment district. The eels supporters dont offer that much to the entertainment industry hence why all the political agenda to bag the sport

I won't slam it. I've seen Church street in 2009 on Grand Final day for the Eels, and Church street at a normal Wanderers game day. It's amazing the difference. Wanderers fans offer so much more to the local business community. Sad as an Eels fan, but true.
