so if the proposed redevelopment of anz stadium goes ahead where will they move games to? would the dogs play all their games out of belmore? what about the rabbitohs?

One stand at a time and remain open?

that would be fine for regular games but the nrl won't be happy about origin crowds being halved

Pretty sure they are doing Pirtek, then Allianz, then ANZ ie, not concurrently.

So Origin etc will revert to the new swish Moore Park stadium whilst they renovate ANZ.

If the dogs had to play out of parra stadium for one season while ANZ was renovated I wouldnt have a problem with that. Last time that was our home ground we won the comp

The idea of doing stand by stand while having the stadium still in use was an option, but it now looks to be a complete knok down rebuild.

The playing surface will most likely be ripped up aswell. Nearly making the recent 1.5m+ returf a waste of time/money. But it was due.

I wouldn't say a complete waste, they're still going to get another full year out of it, not to mention A-League games as well.

Not to mention the refurbishment of dressing rooms, gym, offices and medical rooms this year. Money that could have gone towards the new stadium.

Here's a great design from that guy on the Wanderers forum. He's just playing around with designs and still needs to put a roof over it.
I love it. Plenty of corporates. Double level all the way round.
With a roof, it would have a sensational atmosphere when full.

I like that very much. With the right accents on the outside and some blue and yellow seating, that would look awesome.

Granted it's a $40k seater, but I think this design would be perfect both functionally and aesthetically
