Missing Richie though.

big time, not a fan of these latest ch 9 nuffies. Love Bumble though, its a shame we had to send our own people over there, would have liked to listen to some fresh point of views

2 days to get about 40, bring it on, love test cricket

412 to win in 2 days. Easy peasy.

In 1944 Don Bradman's Invincibles ran down 402 once. ;-)

Be an interesting 4th innings. If we get a few on the board (e.g. 4/230), I'd be tempted to bat Johnson at 6 and let him try to put a dent in the total.

maybe not quite that extreme, but I reckon we'll look like we're in with a shot for sometime, then come up short.

We've done a few times in the last 5 or so years and it just kind of feels like we'll get off to a good start and then collapse.

I'll be watching and hope we can at least make a good run at it.

This. One legacy that Richie Benaud left behind was the way he taught us all how to appreciate the intricaties, skill, history and sportsmanship that defines test cricket. Hit & giggle has it's place but nothing compares to Test cricket.

Time isn't the issue (obviously). However, mental stamina and the ability to win a game like this is. It's there for the taking, because a draw is out of the question unless rain intervenes play. Australia should play for the win, there is no other option.

Agreed. Although, once a couple of wickets fall, the pressure increases immensely.
I'd like to see these mid/lower order batsman actually take a chance, because trying the other way and batting conservatively to victory never works.

We certainly don't want to get bogged down, but by the same token the time remaining allows us to leave wide sucker balls alone.
