That was my first guess, hence leading with the "maybe stating the obvious" disclaimer... didn't know Halla used to be Locky Jr though .
What about the ref in seat 196? He really knew his stuff.

Why the name changes?
Um... not quite Snow, not quite.
I had that wrong. I thought you were Snow Bartman. Of course it makes sense now about PPE.
BTW, whilst I've only started posting recently, I have been reading the forum since '04 and everything old is new again. I do hope Stagger comes back though...
you know what casper, have you even been laid? i guarentee if i met you, like 98% on this forum, you'd be some middle aged, over weight f**kwit that's only happiness in life is when parran win, you sad f**k, hopefully cancer gets to you in a hurry, do us all a favour, actually it would make me giggle lol
I agree - but it isn't necessarily confined to the "older posters". Too often a discussion takes place and, when someone posts something that is their opinion, and it is in contradiction to someone else's opinion, instead of debate and discussion brewing, insults start to fly. "You're an idiot if you think that," or, "You must be on drugs," or things of such ilk. And then more damage is created when someone [rightfully] takes offence to it - because then the standard, "It's a forum - toughen up," line gets trotted out.
We're all human beings here, and we're all people who love the Eels. We're not all always going to agree with everything - take Daniel Wagon as an example. Some loved him, some didn't rate him, others were indifferent. But to me there is no reason why the topic at hand can't be discussed without resorting to personal comments, tongue-in-cheek or not.
By the way, adding the qualifier, "It's a forum - lighten/toughen up," or, "It's just a joke," doesn't detract from the sting that some comments can have. I try not to take things too seriously here, but I am well aware I have blown up (and a few times, I'm afraid) simply because I am not used to that sort of discussion. Everyone's opinion is valid, as long as they can explain their point of view. For instance, I think Sefton Boy makes some very good points about Luke Burt. He doesn't rate Burt, but he illustrates why he doesn't, and that's fine for me. It's better than just saying, "Burt sucks," and leaving it there.
Anyway, the point is long live the Eels.
Though I mostly feel the same I also feel it has got a negative and deppressing atmosphere.
Me too. As I said, this place just isn't fun anymore. But as other's have said, it probably has more to do with us losing all the time.

Sadly Avenger is right...the good members are gone, and they've been replaced by nuffies like Casper.
Also PouPou was never "ganged up on". He just pissed everyone off because he's a useless stupid merkin. That's also why he seems to fit in much better now.
Avenger is just grumpy because he bet on Parra to make the eight.
Grow some nuts, soft c**k.
And, as you've never understand my humour, I'll just explain that I'm joking, ok?

It's not funny when you never discuss the topic at hand with a sense of decency, and usually for one to be funny both parties involved have to find it amusing. I'm prone to being a merkin at times but the line is crossed when that is what all your interactions revolve around and then you have to pass it off as "humor".
You don't offend me btw so my balls are fine, I'd just rather talk about the Eels with someone more insightful and less bitter.
Suitman can I ask you a serious question: when the light goes off at night and you get your mum to tuck you in, when you start touching yourself and are too lazy to clean up your own cum so you just lie there in a pool of your own self-loathing, do you ever get lonely?
