No, just applying one set of rules for someone you know, and another for someone you don't.
It's that simple really.

Suity

Exactly Suity, its not like Tim did anything illegal, or pissed on anyone or hit a woman,or ran a RBTU, yet pete will defend all the raiders guys who have done this sh*t. T Smith got on the piss a few times, Big f**king deal!

I think you can work that out Pete, as you can tell alot of us are a little sick to death of your hypocracy...

If I introduced you to Tim's parents would that change your opinion, I know they love him very much...

btw, I think Avenger could be on to something.

Oh do tell. ;-)

Also I noticed last week in the telegraph that Manly was mentioned as one of the possible clubs trying to sign him. They have to be kidding right? Peter Peters has been one of Tim Smiths biggest critics and I thought he was the football manager there?

The Tim Smith return to Parra story has legs. It will intensify if Zappia returns to Parra as the new CEO. ;-)

Tim Smith chasing NRL comeback?

Rugbyleaguelive | 07/05/09 | 0

Former Parramatta bad boy Tim Smith wants to make a return to the NRL, but his old club has already said they don’t want him.

Smith, who has put in two man-of-the-match performances in the last three weeks at UK Super League club Wigan, walked out on the Eels last year after a string of indiscretions and revealing he suffered from bipolar disorder.

His agent David Riolo has reportedly confirmed Smith’s intention to rejoin the NRL in 2010.

The new Eels board is not interested in recruiting the playmaker, but teams that could chase the 24-year-old include the Sea Eagles, Raiders, Titans, Panthers and Storm, according to the Daily Telegraph.

Smith, the NRL’s Rookie of the Year in 2005, was involved with several alcohol-related off-field incidents between 2005 and 2007 before leaving the Eels three games into the 2008 season.

Exactly. I hope Tim Smith does come back, that way you can switch to supporting Canberra.

At times you can be a silly old knob and no poem or rhetoric can change that.

I would think it would be upto the current coach to decide who he wants not the current board??? I think he would be our x factor if he comes back and i am sure that he would have got his act together by now.I'd hope so.

Mario, I couldn't give a hoot if you think I am a hypocrite or not..Joel Thompson and his dad are good mates of mine, and I will not turn my back on their friendship, irrespective of what people think of me. I know Joel's side of the story..Does anyone else on here?
Ignore my posts if you can't hack them....
I am hoping TIM SMITH comes back to the place. The posters on this forum deserve him. I am just about over the NRL anyway.
To be honest, I get more enjoyment supporting and following my local Club, where the blokes play for their community for sport and not egos, for love of the game, and not money.
( BTW.Our Pie in the Sky match on July 26 is going to be a BLOCK BUSTER -
