I remember Penrith looking like runaway February premiers in the 2005 season.

Broke both of Brett Finch's hands in a trial too.

Most disappointing season of the NRL era IMO.

Aside from 2010 being fun it was a pretty bleak 8 years after it too.

You get some sense about player form. I watched Petro on 'debut' in a trial against Newcsstle years ago and he was an absolute gun.

Likewise Metcalf for the Warriors has them looking good in attack. His fitness will be key to their chances of making the 8 this year.

Metcalfe injury ruined the Warriors in 2024 - if Metcalfe stays fit and performing well - they will surprise a few teams this year

Could be a long season for the knights .Parra have some very promising juniors and ex panthers coming through there ranks .Only a trial but hethrington for the knights is very disappointing

Just a trial. Don't care much a out it but Parra look fit. Much fitter then under the Bald fraud.

Can anyone tell me about Ryley Smith. Penrith kid right? I like the look of him.

Joash who dogs let go looks promising and Iongi threw a beautiful pass which I didn't know he had in his game.
