Agreed 100%. Everyone have a good look at the NSW Cup highlights of the 58 nil thrashing. The opposition defence was woeful, barely park footy stuff. Hard to believe some of them are on contracts and banking money for it.

I do trust @Iamback with these things if he's off its not that common or too far off.

The team needs to play well and the opposition needs to play poorly for a 58-0 scoreline. Both things need to be true.

What more could you do vs shitty opposition?

I listened to the commentary (Bar TV) while out walking.

Watched a shirt five minutes or so of highlights on the Panthers website.

When I get the chance I’ll watch a full replay in Bar TV.

Yep. Even the most plain and mediocre fringe NRL player generally looks a clear 'Class Above' when they play Cup.

Sometimes players look better in NRL also as have better players around.
I've watched a lot of NSW CUP and think a junior is over hyped as looked ordinary in cup but hits NRL and looks good.
A lot depends on the player style

Absolutely incredible win by the Dolphins but boy oh boy did the stars align for them perfectly. Everything just went their way for basically 55 minutes straight.
To a degree. I think it was right result, even if they scoreline might have been a bit harsh. They were electric at times.

As usual, the Storm fold when a team stands up to them. Crap is a bit harsh, but if we start putting it together I'm not at all concerned by them. The Dogs look a much more well rounded unit.

Feels a wide open comp at the moment.

The best team (The Dogs) are grinders like us. But if we get our act together we fire more shots than they do.

SOO season will sort the men from the boys. I'd love to see some new teams around the 8 like the Dolphins or Titans though.

The Dogs look like Penrith when we ran SOS/Salmon in the halves.

It'll get wins but they lack a star playmaker in the spine.

Burto still looks like a great ball runner with a good boot. Just a terrible ball player.

Gould might make a sneaky play at Galvin.

Are they going to stick with Burton or not? Sexton I don't rate but he is doing a lot more for the Dogs than Burton. Last night Burton had some really poor touches with the ball.

If they move him on we pounce. Bring him back to play left centre. Still a good footballer.

If he's here he's 6

I'm not so sure.

I've seen enough of him there. He has shown more at centre.

I mostly agree with this however Burton reminds me of Fittler. It took time for him to become an effective playmaker.

Burton may have done himself a disservice by forcing himself into being a #6 (and chasing the money) instead of naturally progressing into one like he would have if he'd stayed with us.

Its more that he'll want to play 6 ($$) and someone will be willing to pay him what he wants to play there.

I'd still love to see him back here at 6. Imagine having to deal with having boots like that on either side of the ruck. We already boot teams off the park with just Nath itd be mental.

Bottom 4 teams will pay him to be a 6. He might get paid less to play centre but he is just a better player in that position.

Would be a nice asset to have a left foot kicker again. We've missed it this year with Luai gone now too.
