Tremendous performance by each of those teams to overcome their more fancied opponents. And what about those Bulldog pups ? Young and full of confidence they are only going to get better - much better next season .

That is what occurs when a coach has the foresight to look ahead , to give the youngsters plenty of 1st grade experience as they did tonight . They tuff it out against a formidable Rabbits outfit and took home the carrots . Their fans will certainly have something to look forward to in the coming years .

If only our mob had the same spirit and grit drilled into them . . . .
