Gotta feel for the Tigers, but they'll win a few games this season if they fight like that.

They continue like the effort they showed today, their wins will come. Now with Douhli and Naden out for lengthy times, they'll probably end up with some loan players if the reserves are thin.

I feel for the players, especially the ex Panthers Api, Laurie, Staines and Naden.

But the club only have themselves to blame. Hire Sheens as your head of football, let him sack your head coach and replace him with himself, and then sign off on it without checking that he failed and was sacked at his last two English super league clubs. They have only got what themselves to blame. Especially when the club had also sacked him as their head coach previously!

Parra very lucky. Togers dominated for large parts of that game. Moses and Matterson a class above everyone. Dunster was dreadfull.
If Staines doesn't drop the ball they win. He played very good.

Tigers biggest problem is they drop their heads too easily.

They had the Eels on the ropes multiple times today only to make some very simple mistakes, and then follow it up with an atrocious defensive set and concede points.

Not just today either, they've been in with a chance in 5 of their 6 games this year. Eels were barely attacking the Tigers line today, but they scored every time they were down there.

Not sure what to make of the Eels. They seem to play to their opponents level each week, rather than dictating terms. Must be frustrating for Eels fans

This is a coaching problem IMO.

Sheens won the comp in 2005, however in 2006 Bellamy ball took over the NRL and still dominates.

The 'we'll just score more' attitude to defence doesn't work when the other team gets a try and pins you in a corner for the next fifteen minutes. Attempt a bit of flair in your own end and any mistake will be punished by a team who can go into its attacking structures the very next tackle.

It really doesn't work with Brooks at halfback.

The attitude of the tigers, just strolling back to defence. No one running when someone else makes a break etc, fullback out of position all the time.

The tigers many times avoided the collision ball on ground instead of diving the would wait for the bounce that cost them a few times during that game
