So if Moltzen announces he retires and with Anasta and Fulton retiring, shouldn't that be enough coin for a decent centre and second rower?

Firstly they have to be some on the market and I don't think there is much quality for next year and secondly no one is going to sign with us until we get the coaching situation sorted. We still have no idea who is going to coach us in 2015.

Also cap space is not everything when it comes to signing players. Case in point look at the raiders.

In saying that there is no reason apart from mismanagement why we are not a choice destination for players.

Is it related to his fractured knee cap ??
Why I ask is because as ive mentioned before this could very well be the same situation Teddy could find himself in , thats why its important we can either buy someone able to cover fullback or groom someone now apart from Rowe.

THE 2014 NRL season could well be the most brutal on record – and here are the stats to prove it.
A total of 112 players are currently unavailable.
With 17 players taking the field each week for every club, that’s enough talent to fill almost seven NRL teams – or close to half the competition.
The combined results of injuries, suspensions and ASADA bans have been particularly hard on the Sharks.
They are missing 16 players, including top guns Paul Gallen, Andrew Fifita, Luke Lewis, Wade Graham and Beau Ryan.
The Panthers (13) have the next largest casualty ward, while the Titans and Eels (both 10) sit next in line.

According to this, we don't even make the top 3 injury list. However the Sharks have other issues named as well.

While our medical staff can always improve, it does appear that we are not alone.
