I've thought for a few weeks now that we'll probably be playing Manly week one. Really hard to tell if they're struggling or just pulling the reigns to time their run in. I wouldn't write them off until they're knocked out.

Some pretty alarming signs in the second half the other night...did you see the veins in Jamie Lyon's forehead....he's been watching Toovs too much methinks. Jamie was spewin' which seems to indicate Manly were trying to play but things weren't happening.

Still, I prefer them as a Week 1 opponent if we can hang onto 4th or even if we can get 1st and they are 4th. If the Roosters get Allianz it will be at ANZ which is if anything a slight advantage for us, seeing how Manly supporters don't like to leave the insular peninsula. If we play any other Sydney team at ANZ and more so at Allianz its not a home advantage even if its our home final.

I heard regardless of where we finish - 1st - 4th we dont get to play at home and will play at ANZ?

yep all syd teams with home final have to play either ANZ/Allianz with only exception (someone may need to correct me) is if the team we play is a non NSW team.

if thats the case, surely Panther fans should get half price or free tickets. how it is, may as well tell all syd teams they play all matches out of ANZ/Allianz......

Manly, Easts, Cronulla would play out of Allianz as their home final. Penrith, Parra, Tigers, Bulldogs and Souths would all be ANZ. Not sure if the Dragon's would be Allianz or WIN.
Conceivably we could play the Rabbits or Dogs at their home ground as our home final. That's where it gets really silly.
Also. You could have Souths and Penrith as 1/2 and Dogs and Eels as 5/6 all playing the first week out of ANZ.

Its gonna be tough with Seggys absence tonight and maybe longer but to be in a position to possibly win the minor premiership 3 weeks out really is a brilliant effort from everyone at the club.

Also the cows win over souffs makes our win last week
all the more impressive. Cows win four in a row, lose to us and then come out and soundly beat the red hot premiership favourites.

really Souths should be Allianz - i know they play at ANZ but geographically, Allianz is more of a home than ANZ. seeing as we get robbed of our home stadium, same should apply to others.
